"Can I ask you a question, Tessa?"
"Of course."
"What the hell are you doing on a dating app?" She smiles, and before I know it, she starts laughing—and god, it's a beautiful sound.
"I honestly can't answer you. That app is full of assholes, but it passes some time."
"Full of assholes?" With a glint in my eyes, I playfully challenge her.
"So far, you don't seem like an asshole."
"Good to know."
"However, there's still time." She shows me a hint of that bratty side, the one I can't wait to control, and the idea of taming her makes my blood pump a little faster, and my cock strains a little harder against my pants.
"I can't see you finding it difficult to meet women, so why are you on there?"
"You think I'm hot?" I ask, and a smirk spreads across my lips.
"I didn't say that."
There's chemistry between us. I felt it this morning, and it's even stronger now. I know we don't know each other very well yet, but I'm determined to change that.
"Moving to another city has its drawbacks, like not knowing anyone."
"So, you're on the app to make friends?"
That fucking smile.
It's not the one from the picture, and it's not the one she offered me as she walked into the coffee shop this morning, but it's about to become just as irresistible as the others.
"Would you like to be my friend, Tessa?"
"We can be friends."
"Do you kiss your friends?"
"No."
"Then we're never going to be friends."
"This is the second time today that your confidence has shown," she says as her teeth graze her lower lip, drawing my focus to her mouth.
"I got date two, didn't I?"
"You did, but you'll be disappointed if you think I kiss on a first or second date."
"That isn't a problem for me."
"Really?"
"Really, Tessa. It's not all about physical touch."
"What do you mean?" I move around the booth so I can get closer to her.
"Close your eyes."
"What?"
