Cohen checked our luggage with the baggage crew before we got in line. After about ten minutes, the line gradually moved until we were finally inside. As I looked around, I noticed the cruise terminal was very similar to that of an airport terminal, only smaller.

We went through the security checkpoint, then proceeded to the check-in counter to get pictures taken for our cruise ID cards that we would be using to access our rooms and get on and off the ship.

Once we went through all the formalities, we crossed the gangway to enter the ship. If I was wowed by the outside of the ship, the interior completely blew me away.

The middle of the ship looked like it had been carved out. There was a bar in the center, and I could see every deck level as I gazed up to the top of the ship. The décor reminded me of an upscale hotel that I could never afford to stay in.

Cohen placed his hand on the small of my back. “Would you like a drink? We have the unlimited drink package.”

I smiled. “Unlimited, huh? You’re just asking for trouble.”

Chuckling, he ushered me to the crowded bar. It seemed like most of the passengers had the same idea about getting some alcohol to start their trip.

After we each got a drink, Cohen led me to the upper deck outside by the pool. It was the middle of April, so the weather was beautiful, and I was beyond excited for the impromptu turn my vacation had taken.

We took a seat at one of the tables surrounding the pool. A light breeze blew through the deck, and I couldn’t help but smile. “I still can’t believe this.” I turned from the bustling environment around us to look at Cohen. “Thank you again for inviting me.”

His full lips curved up in a sexy smirk as he raised his glass. “To an unforgettable trip.”

My grin spread wider as I clinked my glass against his. I had a feeling our time together would definitely be unforgettable.

Chapter Four

As I watched the breeze blow through Adele’s blond hair and the content smile curve her pretty lips, all I could think was that I was fucked.

In the days leading up to the cruise, I told myself over and over that I wasn’t going to fall for Adele. I was just going to have a good time with a beautiful girl so that I didn’t have to take the cruise alone.

Being alone with my thoughts was a bad equation. One of the reasons I’d moved to Vegas and established my restaurants was because it always provided some kind of distraction. I didn’t have to deal with the emotions I’d been burying or face the reality of my life without Cara.

But Adele aroused feelings in me that I hadn’t felt before. I was trying to ignore them, but the more time I spent with her, the more difficult it became.

We stayed outside on the upper deck for the bon voyage party, then went to the suite to change for dinner.

I opened the door for Adele, and she gasped as she entered. “Oh my God, Cohen, this is amazing.”

I’d seen pictures of the room when I’d booked the cruise, but the photos didn’t do the place justice. The suite was the size of a small apartment and had a balcony. The amenities were top of the line and looked like they came from one of the swanky Vegas hotels.

I whistled. “This is nice.”

“This bathroom is bigger than my bedroom,” Adele shouted. “And the tub has Jacuzzi jets!”

I chuckled. Her excitement made me happy.

“I think we could both fit in there,” she added.

My cock swelled at the thought of being naked in a bathtub with Adele. I could vividly picture the water droplets slowly trailing down her flawless skin. I cleared my throat before answering, “Maybe we can test it out later.”

I heard her giggle and imagined her cheeks flushing as a coy smile tipped her lips. I was asking for trouble, maybe even begging for it, but I couldn’t seem to stop myself.

I took all of Adele’s bags to the bedroom, then brought mine to the couch. Adele poked her head out of her room. “Is there a dress code for dinner?”

“Not tonight.” I smiled.

She disappeared back into the room but kept talking. “I did some research on cruises and read that there are formal nights, so I just wanted to be sure.”

I grabbed my change of clothes and headed to the bathroom. “Doing your homework-smart girl. I thought we could stop by the excursion desk after dinner and get some brochures on the upcoming ports and choose what we want to do.”

“Yes, and also look at that paper itinerary thing they left us on the desk. Looks like it has details about tomorrow.”
