Adele brought her eyes to mine as a wide grin curved her pretty lips. “You’re something else, you know that?”
I held her gaze for several seconds until her smile faded, then my eyes darted to her lips. Lips I’d wanted to kiss since the moment I’d laid eyes on them.
The air surrounding us was charged as her grip on me tightened. My heart pounded as I leaned down, pressing my lips to hers. A soft moan escaped her, and my cock throbbed with need.
Adele’s hands came up around my neck as she pressed her body flush against mine. Wrapping my arms around her waist, I pulled her into me, deepening the kiss. My tongue slipped past her lips, which she eagerly opened for me.
I think I’ve died and gone to heaven.
We kissed until neither of us could breathe anymore, then both gasped when our mouths separated. Adele’s cheeks were flushed, and her lips were swollen as she panted for air. She’d never looked more goddamn sexy, and I wasn’t sure I could restrain myself much longer. Thoughts of her with those pretty lips parted, naked and moaning my name in ecstasy flashed through my head.
And at that moment, I decided Adele would be mine, even if it was just for the cruise.
Chapter Seven
Holy. Shit.
Cohen just kissed me-on a fancy cruise ship in the middle of the ocean underneath the most beautiful night sky.
And it was the best goddamn kiss of my life.
My heart was racing as I struggled to catch my breath. We were both staring at each other, and I was almost certain my pupils were just as dilated with lust as Cohen’s were.
“Wow,” Cohen said before chuckling. He ran a hand through his hair. “I wish I would’ve done that sooner.”
I couldn’t fight the smile that curved my lips or the heat that crept onto my cheeks. The kiss was so good that I was at a loss for words. All I could do was giggle.
Cohen tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. Our eyes locked again, and I felt the butterflies building in my stomach again. My lips still tingled, but I wanted his mouth on mine again.
Then a chorus of loud laughter broke our whimsical moment. A group of drunk guys stumbled out from where the elevators were, oblivious to Cohen and me as they yelled and laughed amongst each other.
“I think that’s our cue to leave,” Cohen remarked.
“I think you’re right,” I agreed.
Offering me his arm, Cohen grinned. “Shall we?”
I chuckled as I threaded my arm with his.
Once we got back to the room, my stomach was jumbled with nerves. I didn’t know what that kiss meant for our relationship. Was it a onetime thing? Were we going to hook up during the whole cruise, then be done once it was over? Or was it the beginning of something more?
I couldn’t deny that I wanted to explore more of Cohen, especially after feeling the press of his erection against me. He was definitely packing.
I set my purse down on the desk. “I had a great time tonight,” I said, turning to face him.
A smirk curved his lips. “Me too.”
I glanced down, feeling a little embarrassed. “That was probably the most romantic thing a man has ever done for me.”
He tipped my chin up, forcing me to look up at him. “They obviously didn’t know how to treat a woman.”
My breath caught as I stared up at him. Cohen was only inches away from me and had me backed up against the desk. Heat rushed to my core as lust started to take over from his proximity.
I bit down on my bottom lip, which drew his eyes. He let out a low growl before crushing his mouth to mine.
Lifting me, he propped me on the desk and positioned himself between my legs as the kiss intensified. I wrapped my legs around him and started unbuttoning his shirt as he hiked up my dress.
My sex clenched with need as his erection pressed against my center. I let out a low moan in his mouth as desire rushed through me.
