“I don’t have to say it, do I, Ritchie Rich?” Ryan says in a quiet tone and I shake my head no.

He doesn’t.

“Nope.” Giving him a smirk, I take Kait’s hand in mine and pull her close. “You, look beautiful,” I tell her, reaching up to brush the hair away from her forehead.

She smiles at me, beautiful blue gaze fixed on mine and blurry with tears. “So do you.”

Because I can never help myself when it comes to her, I lean down and kiss her, her mouth soft and warm against mine. Behind me, Jerard clears his throat while I pull away from her with a smile.

“We’re ready when you are, Jerard,” I say, my eyes never leaving hers. We’re more than ready.

We beat the odds.

We found each other.

Kait and I have already won.
