My cheeks heated and I pouted. “Your penis drained all my energy.”
“He really is the villain in our story.” When he pulled out, he left me feeling empty.
“Sometimes he’s the hero,” I said against his lips.
“Really?” His eyebrow quirked. “And when’s that?”
“Every time he feeds me orgasms.”
“Since you’re such a greedy little thing, I better make sure he keeps you well fed.”
“At least three a day,” I agreed.
His grin echoed on my face as he carried me to the bedroom, throwing me on the bed. I rolled onto my tummy to watch him.
“I had Charles stock the fridge in this room earlier with your favourite snacks.”
A real relationship was when your partner knew you better than you knew yourself. Smiling, I sat cross-legged on the bed while he grabbed snacks and brought them to me in a bedroom picnic.
“Do Doms let their subs eat in bed?” I asked, opening a bag of Doritos.
“Absolutely not.”
“Maybe I don’t want to be a sub.”
His lips twitched. “Maybe not.”
“Do you still want to be a Dom?”
“Maybe only on birthdays and holidays.”
He grinned when I scrunched my nose up at him and shoved a chip into his mouth.
“Dick,” I muttered.
“Considering my dick makes you scream, I’m going to take that as a compliment.” He grabbed me and the bag of cheesy flavoured snacks went everywhere.
I screamed as he tickled me and wrestled me into fake submission. Maybe I could be a sub when the motivation was right, and Xavier definitely knew how to persuade me.

Chapter Twelve
Xavier
My fingers drummed on the steering wheel as I drove Cassandra and me home. Jordan and Ash would be following, but I wanted to ensure my wife was safely hidden before I had to meet her uncle. My life was spiralling from crazy to ridiculous.
“Is there anything you can tell me about your uncle?” I asked.
“It was twenty years ago. All I remember is him spoiling me and bringing me dollies.”
Her hand grabbed mine on the gear stick and squeezed.
“Why don’t you let me go?” Cassandra coaxed. “He can say his piece and return to being dead.”
“That’s the problem,” I muttered. “He isn’t dead.”
“If you killed all the bad men, the world would be an empty place.”
