“Don’t even lie to me, girlfriend.”

“You know, Rage is probably really stressed out with everything going on. You should go find him and help him find some relief,” Raven says, wiggling her brows.

Presley tries to hold back her laugh while Carly huffs and I… Well, I think I might need to hurl. “Can we end this conversation before I puke?”

“As if you aren’t fuckin’ around with those boys any chance you get.” Raven chuckles.

Presley grabs a towel off the counter and whacks her with it. “Oh my God, get out of the kitchen, you trouble maker. Leave the poor girls alone.” She chastises her.

Raven’s laughter booms as she leaves the kitchen, and I feel like someone just slapped me with a ton of bricks.

Oh my God.Shooting up, I mumble a quickI’ll be backand then take off after Raven, feeling like she will be the easiest to ask for help. “Raven?”

She spins around from where she was approaching Stone, who is sitting on the couch. “What’s up?”

“Can I, uh, talk to you for a second?”

Noticing the panic on my face, she nods seriously and grabs my hand before pulling me down the hall. Opening a door, she pulls me into an empty office and shuts the door behind us.

“What’s going on?” she questions right away.

“I think I fucked up,” I blurt, feeling my palms grow sweaty.

“Okay. I’m going to need more than that if you want me to help.” She cocks a brow.

“Crap,” I grumble before blurting out in one big breath, “The other day, Cayden and I had sex at the hospital, and we didn’t use protection. He definitely–well, you know, finished—and I don’t want to be pregnant. Oh my God, I’m so stupid. I’m pregnant, aren’t I?”

“Wow, okay. First off, breathe.” I take a breath, and she nods. “Good. How long ago was this?”

“Um, the day of the explosion.”

“Well, make that two explosions that day,” she mumbles as my jaw drops. Did she really just say that? “Well, it’s been three almost four days. We can get you a plan B to take, but you need to understand that the longer you wait, the less likely it is to work. I honestly doubt you are even pregnant, but being safe is a good idea. We also are going to have to talk about getting you on some birth control.”

“Okay.” I breathe, the panic dying down inside me as Raven finds solutions.

The days fly by as we continue to go back and forth from the hospital and work on getting the garage all cleaned out so Colton can have his crew rebuild. It was news to me that he runs a construction crew. I guess he started it years ago for building the houses on the club property but after he formed a solid crew they expanded and he has taken a step back from it since things around here have been kind of crazy the last two years.

Atlas is still in the induced coma, but from Lincoln’s last update, it sounds like they are going to try to slowly pull him out of it over the next day or so. It’s terrifying and exciting. I have to remind myself Atlas is stubborn and he will fight his way back. He has to; Brielle needs him.

“Harley?” Gabe’s voice sounds from the other side of my door as he knocks.

“Come in,” I respond, tossing my leather jacket over my hoodie and jeans. “What’s up?” Since we can’t be in our rooms at the club right now with the damage below, Gabe, Grayson, Cayden, and I have been staying in his house.

He leans against the door frame, watching as I pull my hair out from under the jacket, choosing to leave my hair down and wavy today–a choice I will no doubt regret later. “I just wanted to check in before we head to the club, see how you are truly doing with everything.”

Sighing I plop down on the edge of my bed, fidgeting with the cuffs of my jacket. “I’m alright, I think. I’m having mixed feelings about Atlas, excited and terrified at the same time. And I’m happy Ryker finally gets to come home, even though he is probably going to be even more of a pain in the ass.” Gabe chuckles, knowing I’m right, because the boy has been driving us all crazy from his hospital room.

“Have you heard anything from Oakley?” I ask him, curious how she’s settling into the inpatient rehab we were able to get her into. She left a few days ago, so I didn’t get a chance to say anything to her with all the chaos.

“Not yet. If we don’t hear from them soon, I’ll have someone get in contact to make sure she is doing alright.” He straightens and glances behind him down the hallway. “We should probably get going. Ryker is not going to be happy to come home and have school work to dive right into.”

Groaning, I stand and walk towards him. “Don’t remind me. I’m not happy about it either.”

Gabe chuckles as we head down the hall towards Grayson and Cayden, who are waiting in the living room. “Last semester. You can do it. Plus, you only have two classes, right?”

I nod. “Yeah. Ryker has three, and Cade and I have two. Then, we all can graduate in June together.” I grin at him.

“I’m proud of you, Harley,” he tells me as he pulls me into a hug. “Once you are officially done with your courses, I have a surprise for you, if that’s a motivator at all.”
