“Tonight was good, I’ll give you that one.” Bunny’s fingers tightened on Bea’s thigh. “It’ll be even better when we get home.”
Bea chuckled lightly. “Oh, do you have big plans for when we get home?”
“All day every day.” Bunny lifted Bea’s hand, kissing her knuckles briefly.
“Too bad we have these things called jobs.”
“And annoying friends and siblings who have the worst timing on the planet.”
Bea laughed fully this time. Piper and Jo had interrupted them on more than one occasion over the last year, but Bea was hopeful that it would happen less once the wedding was over and Piper and Jo were figuring out their own lives.
Bea stayed half a step behind Bunny as they walked to their condo. Bunny slid her key into the lock, and within seconds they were inside. Bea leaned against the door, locking it behind her as she eyed Bunny over. The way she moved so much more confidently now, the way she didn’t hesitate when they were out on the town together. She had come into her own so quickly.
“I love you,” Bea said, her voice carrying through the living room.
Bunny furrowed her brow as she turned around, keys on the tips of her fingers as she went to drop them on the kitchen table. “I love you, too. Why the sudden sentiment?”
Bea shrugged and bit her lip. “Because I have big plans for tonight.”
“Oh?” Bunny’s eyes widened, and her entire focus was centered on Bea.
“I like that look.” Bea’s lips curled up, her eyes softening. She wouldn’t have her life look any other way right now. The two of them, together, spinning in each other’s orbit and nowhere else.
“What look?” Bunny frowned now, a deep line creasing in the center of her forehead.
“The one that says you want to eat me up.”
Bunny snorted, immediately grinning. “Maybe it’s because I do.”
“Good.” Bea took a step away from the door. She started with her shirt, pulling it up and over her head and dropping it onto the floor behind her. Sending a saucy and expectant look over her shoulder, she reached behind her back and unhooked the strap on her bra. She wanted her message to be clear as day. “You coming?”
“Fuck yes,” Bunny muttered, following her into the bedroom like Bea had her hook, line, and sinker.
Laughing, Bea undid the button and zipper on her pants and shoved them over her broad hips. She was just about to push them to her ankles when Bunny’s hands on her sides stopped her. Leaning back into Bunny, Bea hummed her contentment.
“Did you ever think this is what your life would look like?” Bea asked.
“Not for a second,” Bunny answered, skimming her hands up and down Bea’s sides.
She touched Bea’s breasts lightly and briefly before sliding her hands down, across her belly, and between her legs. Bea waswrapped in Bunny’s arms like a hug, her back pressed to Bunny’s front. She never wanted to give this up.
“I figured I’d be gone on tour all year, barely even home,” Bunny stated, slipping two fingers through Bea’s slick, wet folds. She pulled Bea’s juices upward, sliding the pads of her fingers against Bea’s clit. She pinned Bea’s clit tightly between her fingers and then scissored them.
Bea groaned. She reached back, wrapping her arm around the back of Bunny’s head and tried to keep herself upright. Bunny pressed kisses against Bea’s neck, small nibbles here and there. Bea gasped, rocking her hips into Bunny’s hand.
“I love that you know how to touch me,” Bea whispered, her voice gravelly.
“I asked Siena to do something different this year.”
Bea winced. She really didn’t want to talk about Siena when Bunny’s hand was doing delicious things to her. She really didn’t want to talk business when her head wasn’t completely in the game. Bunny might try to sneak something in there that Bea would normally push back on.
“I asked her to set up a joint tour.”
Bea whimpered, clenching her eyes shut as Bunny continued the same pattern as before. She wasn’t sure she had heard right, that she’d followed Bunny’s line of thought.
“J-joint tour?” Bea finally managed to ask.
“Yes.” Bunny scraped her teeth over the cord of muscle along Bea’s shoulder. “If you’ll agree to it.”
