“If you want my knot, you’re going to have to take it.”

I moan in frustration and thrust my hips harder. I feel the edge of his knot and bear down on it, grinding my sopping cunt on him.

Tyr pauses, his hands clenched in the flesh of my tits.

“Take it,” he hisses.

I rise and slam down, and this time, he sinks in. I don’t even think. I grab his hand, rip it off my breast, bring it to my mouth, and bite deep.

Tyr yelps, but then his hands are on me, and he’s taking over, thrusting up in tiny movements, wedging his knot deeper still. I moan piteously as a wave of powerful pleasure rises inside me. I can feel the cresting power of it, dragging me higher, and then his teeth sink into my shoulder.

I scream. That wave pounding me into an enduring orgasm that stretches and stretches, leaving me shaking, weak, and stunned.

The sound and the blood, the smell of sex and omega in heat turn the room feral, and I hear the alphas and Envy snarl. I lay back, writhing under my alpha’s teeth.

The bond is calmer but so deep. If Envy is a song, Tyr is the deepest notes, the rhythm. Steady, strong, implacable.

I turn my head to the side, listening to his heartbeat, and fall into the sweetest sleep.

Chapter forty-five

Digs

Promise me forever, that’sall I ask of you- Dillon ‘Digs’ Fate

Envy is worn out, but still, his aggression is riding him, and Mako and Tyr have him between them, their bodies undulating. But I have my eyes on a different prize. She’s curled up in a ball, sleeping quietly, but I can’t wait any longer.

I creep over to her and lift her into my arms, walking us out of the room and into the bathroom. I fill the bath with water, wait, and then step in and sit down.

I just hold her in my arms, and that’s when my purrs start again. She moans and snuggles closer.

Her dark black hair is messy and the streaks are a bit faded now, but she is the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen in my life. I stroke back a lock of her hair and shift her in my arms.

I reach for the soap and gently run it over her body. Every stroke of that soap is a testament to how much I love her, how much I worship her.

She stirs and turns, throwing an arm around my neck and pressing an open mouth to my chest.

After a while, the water cools, and I stand up and wrap us both in one of the huge, white, fluffy towels. I walk back into the bedroom where the pack is entwined together, asleep.

I move to the armchair in the corner of the room and sit down in the dark, content just to wait. We’re all exhausted. It’s been four days, and Envy is slowly coming down from his heat.

I don’t know how long she’s been awake when I realise that she’s laying on my chest, staring up at me.

“Do you want to go for a walk?”

She nods her head.

As quietly as we can, I get dressed and find my shoes. She joins me at the door, and we both leave the hotel room. There are scent deodorisers just outside our door, so none of what happened in that room leaked out. I’m relieved.

I reach out and put a hand on her lower back, now to guide her, but just so I’m touching her.

Ryn leads us outside and picks a path I haven’t been on before.

It winds up and through the jungle, and then the trees break, and there is this magnificent view of the ocean.

“This is beautiful.”

“I used to come up here and think a lot. I figured that I could find some clarity in the world if I was standing somewhere so beautiful.”
