“That can wait until tomorrow,” I said. “Tonight’s about a different kind of pleasure.”

“The best sex I’ve ever had?” she teased. “You’ve already given me that.”

“It was the only sex you’ve had so far,” I pointed out. “It just gets better from here.”

Her eyes widened. “I don’t think that’s possible.”

“Oh, it definitely is. Come on, and I’ll show you.”

But we didn’t move. Not yet. First, she rose on tiptoe and lifted her mouth to mine.

I couldn’t resist the offer of a kiss. And it was a kiss that warmed me all the way through.

EPILOGUE

LIAM

“That’s the last of it,” I said as we stood in the foyer of the cabin I’d bought less than three years ago.

I never imagined when I moved to Seduction Summit that I’d outgrow this cabin that quickly. Actually, this small home had been the perfect place for us in our first year and a half of marriage.

But now, we were growing our family in a few months, and a one-bedroom cabin wasn’t going to work—not long-term, anyway. We needed at least one extra bedroom. Two extra bedrooms, to be precise, since we were having twins.

So we’d bought a three-bedroom cabin that was almost finished being built. Someone else had backed out. Their loss was our gain.

“We have a lot of memories in this place,” Willow said, turning to face me.

She was gorgeous with her pregnancy glow and rounded belly. She’d never looked more beautiful than she did right now. And that was saying a lot.

“Our first date was here,” I said.

Willow smiled and looked toward the fireplace. “You mean the night you brought me back here after meeting me at the bar?”

“It’s not the same as meeting a woman at a bar,” I said. “I just happened to be sitting at a bar when I met my soulmate. The most beautiful woman I’d ever seen.”

She laughed. “You know, you’ve turned into such a softie since I met you.”

I shrugged. “I was pretty hard-edged when you came into my life. But within about fifteen minutes, you were melting that block of ice that my heart had become.”

“And now you have a big, gooey center,” she teased.

I winced. I definitely didn’t like being thought of as gooey, but she was right. Where she was concerned, I was a softie.

“You know, we could say goodbye to this place properly,” I said.

I moved closer, placing my hands on her upper arms and looking down at her. Her arms slid around my waist, her hands settling on my back.

“How would we do that?” she asked, tilting her head up at me.

Her pregnancy hormones had been off the charts lately. We’d already done it twice today—once when we first woke up before the movers came and a second time in the truck when we headed to Adairsville for lunch. But I worried she wasn’t up for a third time when she frowned.

“All the furniture’s gone,” she said.

“We still have counters. Come on.”

I grabbed her hand and led her toward the bathroom—the lowest counter in this cabin. It was a little softer than the kitchen counter too.

“We haven’t made love here before,” Willow murmured as I lifted her onto the surface.
