Janie was curledup in bed the next night. Cole had to work late, so she’d made herself a sandwich and relaxed with the latest book he wanted her to read. This one was on rope play. Her cell rang. “Hello.”

“Hey, girlfriend, how’s it going?” Alicia’s excited voice carried through the airways.

“It’s great to hear from you.” Janie set the book aside, as rope play just didn’t do it for her. The artwork a person could do with rope was interesting, but she didn’t have the patience to be a model for it.

“Well, I have great news. My job here is done earlier than expected.”

Janie sat up. “How soon will you be here?” She hadn’t talked to Cole about having Alicia here yet. Janie hadn’t found a place she wanted to live yet, but with Alicia coming, they could do an apartment search together.

“Next week, if that’s okay.”

“It’s fantastic.” Janie was happy at the prospect of having her best friend close once again.

“And I have a couple interviews lined up already.”

“It’s going to be great having you close again.”

“I know, I’ve missed our girl talks. So tell me, how is sexy Cole doing?”

Janie laughed. “Cutting to the chase.”

“Hey, I have to have some excitement in my life.”

“Well, since Cole is working late tonight, I guess I can tell you about our weekend.”

“Spill, and don’t leave out a single detail.”

An hour later, Janie finished her tale, and an idea began to solidify in her brain. Talking this out with Alicia had helped.

“Do you think when I get there Cole will take us to the club?” Alicia asked.

“I can’t even get him to take me, but maybe the two of us can wear him down.”

Alicia laughed, “I can’t wait.”

“Me either. Call me the second you know your flight information. I’ll meet you at the airport.”

“I will.” The line went dead, and Janie set her phone on her nightstand after glancing at the clock. It was after ten, so she’d better get some sleep. She turned off the light and snuggled down beneath the covers. Tomorrow she’d start Project Cole and see how far she got. She hoped Cole would start to believe she was ready for a full D/s relationship and not just play.

Cole closedthe door before carrying his briefcase down the hall to his home office. Yesterday had been a long day, but it was Friday, and he was off early. He’d barely had time to talk to Janie this morning at breakfast before he had to get to work. He hadn’t been happy about it, because his time with Janie was precious to him.

But his big case had been settled out of court, and now he didn’t have to stress over it anymore. He could concentrate on Janie. He sprinted up the stairs to his bedroom and changed into basketball shorts and a t-shirt. He was going to make her a special dinner tonight.

She’d put up a lot with him the last few days, with this case taking up most of his time, and he wanted to do something for her. He walked into the kitchen and began pulling out everything he needed to make lasagna, one of her favorite meals.

Within an hour the house smelled of tomato sauce and cheese. The homemade garlic bread was waiting to be put in the oven when Janie got home in ... he glanced at his watch ... an hour. Plenty of time.

Cole grabbed her journal off the table, went to his playroom, and opened the door. He’d made the decision earlier today that it was time Janie was allowed in his playroom. He wanted to make sure everything was in place. And it should be, because he checked the room every week. His fingers tingled with excitement at the thought of having Janie in the room.

What would he do first? Lay her over the spanking horse and turn her butt rosy? Or maybe truss her up in the bondage chair and use toys on her? Better yet, on the bondage table, where he could have access to her ass as well as her pussy.

Damn, he grew hard just thinking about it. Nothing new there. He was semi-erect all the time now. He walked over to the overstuffed chair and sat down before opening her journal. Janie was getting better at telling him things, but he still had a feeling she was holding something back.

Thirty minutes later, Cole set Janie’s journal aside. Some of his questions had been answered, but not all of them. Her frustration came through loud and clear in her writing. He hadn’t been open with her about his work this week. His lips twitched. He’d make up for it this weekend.

Cole stood and began to walk around his playroom, checking to make sure everything was in order. When he was done, he picked up the journal and closed the door. Tonight, she could see his playroom, and they’d go from there. He made his way back into the kitchen and checked the lasagna. The front door opened, and he smiled.
