Ten minutes later, he pulled into her apartment building parking lot. Her truck wasn’t in its usual spot.

“Damn.” He fished out his phone.

“Hi, this is Allyson, leave a message.” Voice mail.

“Sweetheart, please call me. I need to know you’re safe.” Zeke pulled away from her apartment building and started driving.

He drove by Sweet and Savory. The parking lot was empty. He drove by her office. It was Sunday, so the lot was empty too. Zeke checked every place he could think of, but there was no sign of her blue truck.

What could he do now? He checked her apartment building once again. Nothing. He checked his phone. No messages, no text, nothing. Even though he’d called and texted. Where was she?

He hit the steering wheel. He’d messed this up. With a sigh, he drove to Wicked Sanctuary. The Dom meeting was going to start soon, and maybe they’d know what he should do.

He’d just pulled into the parking lot of Wicked Sanctuary when his phone rang. Dani’s name flashed on his phone. “Dani,” he said.

“Zeke, thank God.” Her voice was tinged with panic.

“What’s wrong, Dani?”

“I think Allyson is in trouble.”

“What kind of trouble?” He was about to restart his truck when Max came over, and Zeke lowered the window. “Dani, I’m putting you on speaker with Max.”

“Now tell us why you think Allyson’s in trouble?” Zeke’s gut clenched so hard he thought he was going to be sick.

“Allyson called me about thirty minutes ago. She was upset. We talked, and I thought she was better, but…” Her voice broke up. “Zeke, she’s in Seattle.”

Zeke swore.

“What does that mean?” Max asked.

“Zeke, I didn’t realize until she called me and told me she’d be checking in every thirty minutes that she was going to a private party.” Dani was practically sobbing.

“Dani, calm down.” Max’s voice was firm.

Zeke stared at him.

“Yes, Master Max.”

“Good girl. Do you know where she might have gone?”

“I have a good idea.”

“Good.” Max looked at him. “Zeke is coming to pick you up. You will take him to where you believe Allyson is.”

“Yes, Master Max. I’ll be waiting for Zeke.”

The line went dead. “Dani is at Sweet and Savory where the subs were all meeting today,” Max said.

“The parking lot was empty when I went by there earlier.” It suddenly dawned on Zeke that it was almost four. He’d been looking for Allyson for hours. “That’s why I came here. To ask for advice.” Zeke’s mind spun at the turn of events.

“Listen Zeke, some of those private parties in Seattle are nothing more than BDSM wannabes looking for some fun. If Allyson is alone and upset, she might not be in the right frame of mind to tell someone no.”

“You don’t seemed shocked by all this,” Zeke said.

“I’m a Dom and a club owner. I’ve seen a lot.” Max grasped his shoulder. “Allyson is worth fighting for. No matter what made her run. Make sure she understands that.”

“I’ll do that.”
