Anthony jerked awake to see Max standing next to him.

“Sorry, I must have dozed off.” He glanced at the bed. Kaley was still out. She must’ve been exhausted to sleep through all of this. Yes, it was time they talked about the hours she worked.

“No worries. It’s almost three, and we’re going to close at four.”

“All right. If Kaley isn’t awake by the time you’re ready to close, I’ll wake her.”

Max nodded and left the room. Anthony yawned and stood. His back popped as he stretched. That would teach him to sleep in a chair, even one as comfortable as the leather one. Kaley stirred, and Anthony turned toward the bed.

There was confusion in her eyes as she sat up abruptly.

“Easy, Kaley.” He kept his voice soft.

“Anthony?” She ran her hand over her face. “Where am I?”

“One of the private rooms.” He strode over to her. “You fell asleep in the sub area. I carried you in here so you could rest.”

“Oh my goodness.” Her cheeks turned red. “I only meant to close my eyes for a minute.”

“That’s all it takes.”

She swung her legs over the side of the bed, and Anthony sat next to her. “We need to talk about your workload.”

“Not tonight.” She covered her mouth as she yawned. “What time is it?”

“A little after three.”

“Three in the morning?” Her eyes widened.

“Yep. Come on, let’s get changed.” He stood and picked up his sketch pad and pencils, before taking her hand to help her up. The perfect excuse to touch her.

Kaley glanced around the room as he pulled her up, and her breathing grew shallow. “I’ve never been in a private room before.”

He grabbed the blanket off the bed. “You’re too new to the lifestyle.” Anthony leaned down. “But one day, we’ll play in this one.”

“I’d like that, Sir,” she whispered.

His dick jumped with her words. Kaley was adventurous, and he liked that. He dropped the blanket in the hamper by the door and guided her out. The club was almost empty, and Max stood by the bar.

Anthony waved at him, and he nodded.

“Should I go say something?” she asked.

“Like what?” Anthony was curious what she would say to Max.

“I don’t know. Something like, sorry I fell asleep, thank you for letting us use the room.” Her cheeks flushed again. “That sounds stupid.”

“No, it doesn’t.” He led her to the ladies room. “Max understood. Go get changed, and I’ll meet you back here.”

Kaley nodded and disappeared into the bathroom. It took Anthony only a few minutes to pull on a shirt and get his stuff. Max waited in the hall.

“Kaley okay?” Max asked.

“Yeah. A little embarrassed she fell asleep.”

“I have to say that’s a first.” Max chuckled.

Kaley walked out of the ladies room with Sierra. “Don’t stress over it, Kaley,” Sierra was saying.
