“Fine. Why?”
“You looked a little flustered while talking to Sierra and Allyson.”
This time the flush wasn’t contained to her cheeks. It started at her chest and spread up. “Not going to discuss it.”
“No problem. Noah takes over at ten, right?”
“Yes.” She glanced to her left. “Be right back.”
Anthony kept his gaze on her when she walked to the other end of the bar and served a man who identified as a Dom. Anthony remembered he’d said his name was Ward. She placed the glass in front of him and poured some juice. Ward said something, and she shook her head.
The next thing Anthony knew, the self-professed Dom grabbed Kaley’s wrist. Anthony surged to his feet.
“Red.” Kaley’s voice was clear and strong. Colby and Zeke were there before Anthony could take a step. Ward released Kaley and held his hands up. Anthony approached the group.
“Are you okay, Kaley?” Colby asked, watching carefully as she rubbed her wrist.
“I am now, Sir.” Anthony stepped up to Colby’s left. Kaley’s gaze met his. She wasn’t fine. He could see the fear in her eyes. “Zeke, would you get Noah?”
Zeke nodded.
“She has a white wristband on,” Ward muttered.
“White means novice. It doesn’t mean you can put your hands on her without permission,” Colby said.
Anthony ignored Ward and held his hand out to Kaley. She placed her hand in his, and he examined her wrist.
“I’m okay,” she whispered. He rubbed the red spot on her wrist.
“What’s going on?” Noah asked.
“Can you take over a little early?” Anthony asked.
“Sure.” Noah frowned when he saw Anthony rubbing Kaley’s wrist. “Are you okay, Kaley?”
She sighed. “I’m fine, and I can finish out my shift.” Anthony stared at her, and she sighed again. “Honestly, you Doms need to take it down a notch.”
“Never,” Anthony muttered.
“Let’s go have a chat, Ward.” Colby gestured for Ward to walk away.
“Whatever.” Ward left with Colby, Zeke, and Noah following. Within a minute, Max and Jordan joined them.
“Hey, Kaley. Can I get some water, please,” Regina yelled from the other end of the bar.
“Coming right up.” She slipped her hand from his and moved down the bar. Anthony’s gaze never left her as she handed two bottles of water to Regina, then started checking in with the others sitting at the bar.
Anthony glanced over to where the men stood. Ward was gesturing with his hands, and Max was shaking his head. Then Max turned and approached Anthony. “Before I take any action, did you see him grab Kaley?”
“Yes.”
“Without her permission?”
“Yes.” Anthony’s fingers curled into his palms.
“Anyone else?”
Several of the men spoke up, saying Kaley was just pouring Ward a drink when he grabbed her. Max nodded. “Thank you all.” He looked back at Anthony. “I need to talk to Kaley.”
