Page 18 of Dear Glory

“I look forward to you being right,” I purr with challenge and his eyes light up as he reaches inside his pocket, fastens the mask on my face, and steps out.Ohhh, so that’s what he swiped from the counter and put in his pocket…

He stands up straight, fixing his coat, then holds his hand out to me, which I contently take and step out behind him. I’m slightly intimidated by all the eyes on us. While I’m used to commanding attention, I’m not used to… wearing such revealing clothes. However, for some reason, maybe because my face is hidden behind a mask, I’m not as scared as I thought I would be when Axil strips my coat from my person.

When he takes my hand again and leads me through the crowd, I feel like a prized stallion being shown off, and I’m not mad at it. It might be vain, but I love when my man shows me off. Axil is clearly proud to be walking next to me, and I find thatsexy as hell. A man who knows my worth is a man worth getting to know.

In addition, I quickly gather that I’m not the only one in such revealing clothes, so that helps too. There are men and women alike who are wearing less than I have on, but still, all eyes in the room are not on me, but on Axil, who’s like a beacon in the night. He walks effortlessly as the crowd parts for him.

“Axil, where are we?” I whisper curiously, but he doesn’t answer, making me pout.I’m not going to let him ignore me as he pleases.“Axil, what’s go—” He glances back and places a finger upon my lips, shushing me.

“Here, you are not permitted to call me by my name.”Oh… is this some secret masquerade event or something?

“O…okay,” I nod quickly. “Th-then what am… then what am I supposed to call you?” I pout, cocking my head to the side and he chuckles.

“What do youwantto call me?” I swallow unsure at his question, but for some reason, the name that suits him tumbles from my lips, leaving me to feel embarrassed…

“S-Sir?”

“Aye, that suits me well,” he winks and my heart flutters.

“I’m glad you like it, Sir.”

“I do… more than you know.” Pleasure fills me down to the deepest part of me I didn’t know was empty.

“S… so uhm… where is this exactly?” I look around the immaculately decorated yard and can deduce several things, but I can only focus on three. One: whoever put this event on has a massive budget. Two: they are freaky as hell, and three: Ax— I mean Sir is clearly no stranger to this kind of stuff.

“It’s simply a place we can enjoy ourselves indiscriminately,” he answers nonchalantly.

“Enjoy ourselves like how? Like that?” I point to a couple getting busy in the corner on the stairs skeptically, and he laughs.

“Aye… just. Like. That.” He steals a kiss, shocking me for real this time because he can’t be serious… right? But I don’t get to ask since I’m afraid of his answer and just allow him to lead me through the crowd, where I catch more women and men alike eyeing him with desperation.

When he finally stops, we are at a round table where a few other people are sitting, but upon seeing us, their hushed conversation turns quiet.

“Mr. O’Hara! I was not aware you were attending tonight’s show. You are usually not one for watching.” A tall, manly yet extraordinarily gorgeous French man wearing a girly bunny costume, thong, and heels speaks. He’s accompanied by a petite, pretty Black woman in a wolf costume who comes over beaming.

“I only came to enjoy the show with Princess. Isn’t she lovely?” he boasts, twirling me around and for some reason I feel giddy.

“My, my, I can see why you’re showing off such a beauty. Are you sharing tonight?” the woman’s eyes roam over me in such a lustful way taking me aback and I shyly look away. Even if she’s small and pretty, the big energy that radiates off her is on a level that has my heart skipping a beat.

“I’m not sure yet. It all depends on Glory.” He kisses my cheek, taking a seat, and I quickly plop down on his lap, wrapping my arms around his neck and laying my head on his shoulder. Hold on…did they say share… as in SHARE share? That share? No, I must be wrong…but he sure proves me wrong. “What do you think, Princess? Are you willing?”

“M-me?” I point to myself with wide eyes giving them an Eartha Kitt look.

“Aye. What do you say? Care to make some new friends? Bunny and Wolf are good playmates.” he nibbles my ear, whispering seductively and making me tremble in his arms.O-oh… is that all he means? Just new friends.

“W-well…”

“How cute,” the bunny man laughs. “Are you nervous?”

“Not really. I’m just… quietly observing, for now, if you’re worth getting to know,” I answer coyly and they all stare at me shocked before bursting out laughing,

“Oooo, how fun and tenacious! You have a good one!” the Bunny man claps and the Wolf lady wraps her arms around him and pulls him to her side in a very mannish way.

“I agree. I like this one a lot. Definitely put us on your play card if you have room,” she licks her lips and I have to look away which, again shocks the hell out of me since I’m not one to break eye contact easily. “Come on, Bunny. I want to dance,” she tells him as she smacks his ass and he jumps, giggling and wrapping his arms around her in a rather feminine way, which is quite striking considering how tall and wide he is compared to her small stature.

“Well, you enjoy the festivities. When you’re ready, we’ll be around,” Bunny whispers against Wolf’s lips as she nods. The music starts up and he and Wolf sway to it in their own world while I take in the avant-garde scene with the eyes of a newborn baby calf.

“Well, Princess, what do you think?” he whispers in my ear, running a hand down my back, causing me to shudder.
