I sigh. “Yeah.”

“Sorry.”

I grin down at her. “No, you’re not.”

She giggles. “No, I’m not.”

I reach down and pinch her ass. “I’m going to makeyoutell Torin.”

She nods. “Okay. But…”

Suddenly she’s pushing me to my back. Because she catches me off guard, it works. She looks down at me, a mischievous look in her eyes that I’m immediately addicted to.

“I don’t think we should go home until Tuesday.”

“What are we going to do until Tuesday?” I ask, my hands settling on her ass.

“Adda lotmore items to my Like It list,” she says.

I slide a hand to the back of her neck and pull her down for a hot kiss, my cock already stirring again.

We will be together in Cara. I won’t be able to stay away from her.

But it will be a lot easier to be uninterrupted for hours on end…not to mention nice and loud…right here in this hotel room.

“You’re brilliant, you know that?” I ask her.

“I’ve been told that a time or two,” she says smugly. “So you can come up with a few things for us to do if we stay a couple extra days?”

“Oh, Duchess, I’m your man.”

“Well, you look downright radiant,” Torin says to Linnea as she approaches his desk.

I asked for a meeting with him the moment we returned. We’ve been back on the island for only about an hour.

He was eager to see us as well, to get a full report on our trip. Especially since I’ve been ignoring his calls and only sending texts that sayI’ll fill you in when we get backfor the last few days.

Linnea takes a seat in one of the chairs facing his desk, leans back, resting her hands on her crossed leg, and gives him a smile. “Thank you. Astrid says it’s all the hot sex I’m having.”

I cough slightly as I take my seat beside her.

Torin’s eyebrows arch and he gives her a half smile. “I see. So the trip to D.C. ended up going well, I take it.”

“Yes. I furthered the relationships between Cara and Dr. Hill as well as the senator. And I learned how to bowl.”

Torin chuckles. “Good for you fitting hot sex in, too.”

She smiles. “Oh yes. I also did end up falling in love with someone.”

Torin’s smile widens, and he sits forward in his chair, resting his forearms on the desk. “Really? That’s wonderful. And he feels the same way?”

I lean toward her and slide my hand to the back of her neck. “He does. Very much so.”
