Without hesitation, Alex pulled Eleni closer. “Not even close,” he whispered before sealing her lips with his. He’d missed so much about the incredible woman in his arms, especially the way she molded to him as if she were created with him in mind. He’d been a fool not to fight harder for them. A complete idiot for not taking her aside the moment he’d laid eyes on her the first day he had arrived.

“Uh, guys. I hate to break up this reunion,” Trespass cleared his throat, reaching for the handle of the fire alarm. “But it’s about to get really loud in here.”

Refusing to end the kiss with his wife, Alex opened his eyes. He caught sight of Trespass as he pulled the alarm, causing Eleni to jump and break their kiss.

“What in the…?” Eleni trailed off, the screeching sound of the alarm hurting her ears.

“We need to move, babe.” Adjusting her in his arms, Alex broke out in a jog, heading for their villa. Historically, after a successful mission, he would have met up with his team and gone over what went wrong and how to improve it. This time, however, he wouldn't be attending. More importantly, he wouldn't feel guilty about it.

Sprinting to catch up with Alex, Zach smiled as he sent a snapshot of Alex and Eleni kissing to his wife, the caption reading, Mission accomplished.

Trespass watchedand waited for the confirmation email to hit his inbox. With his thumb hovering over the detonation switch, ready to set off the plastic explosives inside the sub. He’d been careful to calculate the amount, placing enough to destroy the drugs and seal off the tunnel. He’d pulled the fire alarm as extra insurance, in an effort to prevent any civilian casualties.

“Come to papa.” He mumbled under his breath as the email arrived, confirming his share of the bounty was safely in his account. Glancing up at the hotel, he flipped the switch, a satisfied smile on his face as the unmistakable sound of his handy work filled the night air.
