Nodding, Milena twisted the shiny new phone around in her hand. It had been so long since she’d had something new.

“Your email is set to come through me. A little trap I’ve created to capture this bastard.”

“What if he gets through, couldn't he hack into your files too?”

“He can try,” Bash’s cocky smile splitting his face of its own volition. “He’d be the first to get past me.”

Milena suspected Sebastian walked a fine line between cocky and confident, those two characteristics making him the kind of man she should walk away from.

“Sebastian?”

“Bash,” he corrected.

“Of course, Bash.” Milena tested out the shortened form of his name, the added edge it gave his hard angles filled her chest with something warm. “I need to apologize for being,” she hesitated, her Nona’s aversion to swearing something she’d adopted long ago. “For being such a brat to you at the station. Bash found himself enjoying the way his name rolled off her lips, and wondered what it would sound like as it echoed off the walls as he brought her to orgasm.

“You were far from being a bitch, Milena. You had a rough couple of years, and I plan to do everything in my power to make the rest of your life a cake walk.”
