I gasped. “Oh no you didn’t!”
“Oh, yes I did! Bolton got the big D last night too. She said he’s hung like a horse and eats her pussy like a starving man!”
I clenched my fists and shut my eyes really tight.
“Don’t you fucking do it, Morgan!”
I opened my eyes and smiled.
“Fucking hell, Morgan!” He stopped the car and jumped out. I heard him gagging and laughed so hard another one escaped.
“Oops.”
He was bending over with his hands on his knees trying to breathe in some clean air.
“Do you want to get married today, Morgan?”
“Yes!”
“Then get your ass out of that car and leave the door open. Let it air out! I hope you fart in his face when he goes down on you tonight!”
I stood outside the car and crossed my arms. “Well, I hope one of your little Creed’s Lake girls farts in your face.”
“I think I’m pretty well broken in, Morgan!”
When Josh felt the car was aired out, we finally hit the road again. All that happened before we even made it to the guard shack. Josh was still shaking his head as he drove.
“What are you shaking your head about?” I asked.
“Don’t come running to me when he kicks you out of the house for that shit. There isn’t a pussy tight enough to make that shit worth it. Everyone asked me why I never made a move onyou for all those months. That! That’s why I never made a move! Your whole down there area scares the hell out of me!”
“It is not, it’s because you’re the best friend ever. Admit it, if I never met Creed, you’d try to fuck me. You love him that much.”
He glanced at me. “I look at you and still see that little girl. No, it’s not like that with us. You’re adorable like a little baby until you shit yourself.”
I smacked his arm as he laughed. Josh was gorgeous, funny, annoying, and safe.
“No really, you’re gorgeous, but no, even if Creed wasn’t around it wouldn’t happen. You know it too.”
I smiled as I glanced at him. “Do you ever think we come across different kinds of soul mates? Maybe some for friendship, some for protection, some for comfort, and some to fall in love with because they’re all those things?”
He gave me a weird look, thought about it, then smiled. “Yeah, Morgan, I do. I really do.”
“Maybe you’re my soul mate to teach me tolerance. I’m yours to teach you that some people are worth protecting.” I said.
“Tolerance?” He asked.
“Yeah, your ex girlfriend bullied me, but I never took that out on you. And then you hover for months. You drove me insane. After your ex did what she did, you didn’t judge all women. You still protected me.”
He glanced at me. “I’ve been protecting you for a lot longer than you think.” He gave me a wink.
I tilted my head. “What do you mean?”
He parked the car then nodded toward the courthouse. “I’ll tell you all about it someday. For now, let’s get you hitched.”
I Do
