No matter how hard I pounded into Dahlia, it just wasn’t happening for me. Every time I thought I was close to my release, striking blue eyes flashed before my eyes. I had to stop, I was going limp, and my dick was useless.
“What’s wrong?” Dahlia asked as I pulled out of her and stuffed my dick back into my jeans. I really fucking needed that damn release, and didn’t even undress us fully before I bent Dahlia over her sofa.
“Fuck!” I cursed as I walked toward the door. “The contract is ending. I’ll send enough money to fulfill it and pay next semester’s tuition. Just lose my fucking number. It’s not you, there’s shit going on at the shop and I’m stressed out. Just let it go.” I dropped the empty condom in the trash then walked out and slammed the door behind me. I couldn’t believe that happened and it was all her fault. Fucking Morgan Rossi was getting under my skin, and I was pissed about it.
My situation only got worse when I thought about her. My mom took advantage of her, and the girl wasn’t lying to me. I was a special ops agent, a member of CAD, and I knew when someone was fucking lying, and Morgan was being honest. Holyshit it fucked with my head. Having her on the back of my bike felt right, and that said a lot. I never let a chick on my bike, hell nobody but me ever rode on my bike.
My frustrations were through the roof. Enough so that I never wanted to see Dahlia again after that embarrassment. Jesus, I couldn’t even keep it up to get her to orgasm. I was cursing myself as I got on my bike and headed toward home. My mind was working on overdrive as I tried to figure out what kind of bullshit Morgan was causing with my brain and my body. I spent most of my ride home going over the reasons why she frustrated me, trying to distract myself from listing the reasons she was so damn perfect. I couldn’t go there, I had to remember she was the opposite of the kind of girl I liked. Money couldn’t buy her body like it did with Dahlia, a shitty attitude from me didn’t seem to phase her, and she was smart. Hell, she had more education than me and wasn’t even snobby about it. The girl was high class and still would have chosen a garbage man over a fucking A-list actor. Money and status didn’t seem to impress her, and that threw me for a loop. I saw true emotions when she spoke of her friend and the little girl. Morgan obviously loved them and all she wanted was to save them and provide them both with happy lives. Why the hell that Callie chick chose some tweeker over a better life with Morgan was beyond me. The fucking Rejects, they were nothing but trouble. They were the one club where we never succeeded in getting an undercover in as a prospect. Damn, if we could have gotten one in there, he would have been able to report back to me. I hated to think of any kids growing up in that environment. I was about thirty minutes from home when I saw something in the middle of the state highway. Fuck! I skidded to a stop when I realized it was a tiny little girl. She was standing in the middle of the highway with tears pouring from her eyes. I pulled to the side of the roadand dismounted from my bike. “Hey there, why are you out here all alone?” I approached her slowly so I wouldn’t scare her. I didn’t know shit about kids, but knew I could be intimidating.
“Mommy!” She cried and pointed toward the motel.
“What’s wrong with your mommy?” I reached down for her and surprisingly enough she let me pick her up.
“Daddy.” She hiccupped. “Daddy hurt mommy and.” She hiccupped again. “Auntie Morgan.”
My blood suddenly ran cold. “Is your name Addie?” My heart began racing.
“Yes.”
Fuck! “Where are they?”
She pointed again at the motel. I ran with her in my arms. As we approached people began exiting their rooms. The smell of smoke hit me like a brick wall. “Where is that coming from?” I screamed it as I approached the people.
“One of those.” A woman pointed at two doors, then I heard screaming.
“Morgan!” Her name left my lips as I handed the little girl off to some random stranger and ran toward the two rooms. That was when I saw smoke begin pouring from the bottom of the door on one. I pulled my gun out and kicked the door in, and as soon as I did smoke came pouring out and the screams became louder.
“Morgan!” I screamed. I couldn’t see shit.
“Creed?” She started banging on a door. “Shane is out there but I think he’s dead!” She yelled out just as my boot kicked something and I almost fell. I stepped over it and mademy way through the room. That was when I tripped over what I knew had to be a body. I could smell the gasoline, so whoever did it meant to kill everyone. I crawled to the door and realized the doorknob was tied with a rope to the sink on my side of the door.
“Morgan, stand back!” I coughed. I kicked a hole in the door and kept kicking until I made a big enough hole to pull Morgan through. The fire was in the closet, and created more smoke than anything. I could feel the heat behind me, but it wasn’t yet totally out of control. I pulled Morgan through the hole I made, and threw her over my shoulder. I tried to remember how many steps until I’d trip over the bodies and safely made my way outside with Morgan screaming for Callie. I set her down and clasped her face.
“Where’s Callie?”
She shook her head, and I pulled her into me. “She’s dead.” She silently said it into my ear then coughed. “We have to find Addie.” She cried.
“Addie’s okay, she stopped me on the road.” I just held her that way and looked around for Addie who was being held by an older woman not far away.
“Did anyone think to call 911?” I yelled out.
“They’re on their way!” Someone answered.
I pulled back and cupped Morgan’s face. “Who is in that room? Is anyone else in there?”
She shook her head. “Nobody.” She sobbed and coughed. “He slit her throat, and I stabbed him.” She tried to speak softly between sobs so Addie wouldn’t hear.
“Mommy!” Addie cried out and we both looked at her.
“Take her to the office, get her away from this room!” I yelled at the older woman then looked at Morgan. “The fire isn’t that bad, it’s mostly smoke. Are you okay?”
She coughed. “No, she’s dead.” Morgan was shaking and that’s when I took in the whole picture. She had blood all over her and she was bleeding from her head. “I got Addie out through the window, but I didn’t fit through. Then I couldn’t get the door open once Shane got quiet. I killed him.”
She was going into shock. “Someone get me a blanket!’ I yelled out to the crowd that had formed around us. I looked back at the room then scanned the outside of the building for a fire extinguisher, but saw nothing. A young woman brought me a blanket and I covered Morgan up then laid her down and lifted her legs. I heard the sirens, then saw Darren pull in with Tanner not far behind him in his personal vehicle.
“Tanner, over here!”
I watched as his eyes looked from me to the Range Rover then to Morgan. “What the fuck!” He came running toward us and I shook my head.
