“Good to know. Let’s go to bed.”

He backs up, giving me space to get up off the couch. I kiss him before walking toward my bedroom. Before I make itdown the hallway, Josh grabs my wrist, stopping me in place. I turn and face him with a confused look. He steps closer to me, wrapping his arms around me.

“I want you in my bed, Olivia. I want to fall asleep and wake up next to you every day. We can move your stuff into my room tomorrow, but please spend the night with me.”

I wrap my arms around his neck, reach up and kiss him softly. “Yes, let me grab a shower and something to sleep in and I’ll be right in.”

“Okay.” With a peck he walks down the hall to his room, and I return to mine, showering, throwing on a negligee and grabbing my phone charger before making my way to Josh’s room. I settle on the bed, plug my charger in and check my phone for the first time all weekend. I have a couple of texts from Matt and Gi. The girls’ group chat has tons of texts, and I have missed calls and texts from Drew’s new number.

I open the texts from Matt first.

Matty:Hey how’s your weekend?

Matty:Hey, I heard from Zoey that you headed out of town for the weekend. Is everything all good?

Matty:Just checking in. Can you text me back?

Liv:Yeah, headed up to Whistler for the weekend. It was on a list of things I want to do this summer. Home safe and sound.

Matty:Sounds good. Glad you’re home safe.

Gi:Hey, Matt’s been asking where you are. Are you good?

Gi:Apparently, he called Zo. She said you went away for the weekend. He’s a little worried cause you didn’t say anything.

Liv:All good, home safe and sound. Just texted Matt.

Gi:????

Zo:Liv, Matt called looking for you. I just said you went out of town. Didn’t say anything about Josh, but you owe us all the deets.

Han:Yes, tell us everything!!!!!

Liz:When will you be home?

Zo:Did you have sex?

Zo:How was it? It had to be good. It must have been. This is Joshua Lincoln we are talking about.

Han:He is probably a god in bed.

Liz:I would have to agree.

Han:I bet no woman leaves his bedunsatisfied.??????

Zo:They probably leave wanting more??

Zo:Liv, we need to know now. I can’t not know.

Han:Liv???

Han:Liv, are you getting it that much you can’t respond?????????

Liv:We are home now. Dinner tomorrow night? I’ll give you the details then!
