Page 46 of Keeping You

In the morning, I wake up with Grayson wrapped around me. I pretend to be asleep, enjoying the feeling of his hard chest pressed to my back. I can smell hints of the cologne he wore last night. Last night. Memories of him pulling me away from that Davis guy and dancing with me before he took me into the back office flood my mind. I thought hearing Grayson claim me and act as possessive as he did would be a turnoff, but I was completely wrong. His words alone had me wet, add in his close proximity, and I was a goner. I’ve never had a man eat my pussy like it was his greatest accomplishment the way Grayson did.

His refusal to have sex with me without a condom does stick out. I’ve never gone without, but I’ve only ever had men beg to go without, never one insist the way he did. I understand the precaution, but now I’m left wondering if it’s a me thing or a him thing. Was it because I had been drinking and he wanted to make sure I knew what I was agreeing to?

His lips dust over my shoulder, and I squirm in his arms remembering the way his lips felt against my skin in the fieldyesterday. His erection presses into my ass, and his grip on me tightens.

“Spitfire,” he grits. His morning voice does things to me, making me squirm more. “I don’t have a condom, and the more you do that, the more I want to fuck you.”

I twist my head to look at him over my shoulder and say, “Then fuck me.”

He stares at me, and his grip around me relaxes. He rolls on to his back and stares at the ceiling. I’ve apparently gone and stepped in it. How have we gone from me wanting nothing to do with Grayson to me lying here sad because he won’t fuck me?

“I’m sorry,” I say and move to slide out of bed.

He reaches out and grabs my wrist, halting my movements. He sits up and runs his hands down his face.

“You have nothing to apologize for, Hannah. I just won’t go without one. I trust you’re clear if you say you are. I am, too, just so you know. And please know, I want nothing more than to fuck you right now. I’ve been thinking about it for a while. This is just a boundary I’m not prepared to cross right now.”

I reach out and squeeze his arm. “I respect that. I won’t say anything more about it.”

I climb out of bed and grab a change of clothes on my way to the washroom. Grayson swaps spots with me when I come out, and I head downstairs to the kitchen to grab a cup of coffee. I’m surprised to find the kitchen empty today. I pour myself a cup from the coffeepot and make my way onto the back porch with Micky following me and settle in a chair as I look out across the property. I close my eyes and enjoy the quiet. Sitting here, I can hear my own thoughts. There’s no one else around talking up a storm with friends, or the sound of traffic as people honk their horns.

The sliding glass door opens, and Grayson steps out with a cup of coffee and passes me my phone.

“It was blowing up, figured it was the girls wanting to check in and make sure you’re safe.”

I smile, saying thank you as I take my phone and scroll through my messages.

Dad

Hey Han. Hope you’re doing well. Would love to catch up some time this week. Give me a call when you get a chance. Love you.

Liv

Update please. I need to know that you haven’t killed Grayson yet.

Zo

Please don’t kill him. I don’t think I have enough to bail you out if you do.

Liz

Any sign of life would be great.

Liv

Han you good? You’ve been there for a day.

Bailey

Maybe she’s too busy sleeping with him to respond.

Zo

Get it girl. You deserve it.

Liv

Please tell me that’s the case. You could use some good orgasms.
