The last time I’d been in here had been when I’d caught him in the shower, and I hadn’t really taken the time to appreciate his space before. Howhimit was. Trudging over to his bed—his sheets and comforter were blue. No surprise—I pushed his pillow up against my face, inhaling deeply. It smelled like him—like ice and trees and that spicy masculine scent I loved. If I could bottle up his scent like cologne, I would.
I missed him so much.
Sitting on the edge of the king-sized bed, I almost moaned at how soft it was. This bed washeaven. Sure, his guest bed was comfortable, but nothing like this.
And then, even though there was a small thought in the back of my mind that knew it was wrong, I curled up under his sheet, hugging his pillow to my chest as I promptly fell asleep.

You looked great out there, though!

Is anyone watching *my* game tonight?
Abigail
Sorry, Beau. I’ll be on a flight.
Quinlan
To be fair, you didn’t watch Owen’s gameeither.
Abigail
What can I say? I’m an equal opportunity sports hater. I’ll cheer for you if you make the Super Bowl though, little brother.
Beau
I’m less than three years younger than you, you know.
Abigail
So? Doesn’t mean I can’t give you shit.
Beau
Love you too.

Where are you headed, Abs? I haven’t heard about the latest trip.
