“Holy fuck,” Owen breathed, and Evan agreed. “This isn’t going to be as slow as I wanted,” he growled.

“I don’t care how fast it is, just move!”

The burn was still there, but Evan could feel the potential for pleasure just outside of reach. But that potential came full force when Owen slid back and forth, gaining inches with each movement. As Owen’s groin met his ass, they both sighed. Owen leaned his forehead against Evan’s spine.

“Just give me a second.”

Evan gritted his teeth, needing Owen to move, but also wanting him to stay in the same position forever. Why had he waited so long for this? But he knew the answer. He’d waited for Owen. The only person he could trust with that kind of intimacy.

“Ready?” Owen asked. Evan nodded. “I need your words,” he teased, and Evan growled.

“Fucking move!”

Owen withdrew and thrust back in, and then he repeated it several times, and Evan found the pain ebbing away and pleasure taking point. Fire licked down his spine, pooled in his groin and sparked outwards from there.

“Holy shit. This feels amazing.”

Owen tightened his hold and increased his speed, and Evan gasped as a galaxy of stars exploded behind his eyelids. He lost track of everything as Owen slammed into him, sending his careening higher and higher until he wasn’t sure he would everfall over. But then, Owen canted his hips with a final thrust, and Evan burst. Tremors wracked his body, tingles sparked all over, and he swore he floated above their bodies. When he came back to, Owen was plastered to his back, and they were collapsed on the bed, only their panting audible.

Owen was still inside him, but Evan could feel his release there, too. He didn’t want to move. So he didn’t.

“Jesus Christ, you wore me out,” Owen grumbled as his cock slid free.

Evan winced, knowing he would be feeling that for days and loving the idea of it.

“Are you okay?” Owen asked.

“Uh-huh.”

Owen moved, and Evan heard his soft footfalls pad to the bathroom before coming back. His hand touched his ass cheek, and Owen cleaned him. Then he cuddled in behind him and pulled the covers over them.

“Still okay?” Owen asked.

“Still perfect, you mean,” Evan murmured. He dragged his eyelids open and glanced over his shoulder. “That was better than I could’ve hoped for.” Owen froze behind him, and Evan squeezed the arm banding around his waist. “Was it okay for you?”

Owen was quiet for a moment, and Evan began to panic, when Owen finally spoke. “It was great. I just…don’t think it’s something I want to do all the time. But if you want to, that’s fine. We can switch whenever you—”

Evan shut him up with his lips, a harsh smack of their mouths together. He pulled back. “I agree. Now and then only.”

Owen’s breath rattled from his lungs, and he smiled. “Yeah, now and then.”

They settled back, and Evan could’ve easily fallen to sleep again, but he kept himself awake, barely.

“Matteo’s coming over tonight, isn’t he?” Owen asked, pressing his lips to Evan’s shoulder before moving away, sending a cool draft of air over his back.

“Yeah. I think he needs to talk about what happened with Edward. Understandably, he’s a little shaken.” Evan pulled himself to sit against the headboard, wincing, and draped the covers over his lap.

Owen frowned. “Why?” His expression cleared. “Oh, I remember now. You said he had a thing for the doctor.”

Evan nodded. “He still likes the guy, and I can see why, but after all this, he’s not sure what to think. He just needs a sounding board, I think.”

“And you’re the one he chose?” Owen stared at him, hands on his hips.

Chuckling, Evan said, “Yeah. I explained how I have mixed feelings about the guy, but he still wants to talk.”

“Do you want me to head out tonight, then? Give you two time to talk? I can visit Dominic, I’m sure. Or Mum.”

Evan wasn’t sure what Matteo would prefer, but he went with his instincts. “No, stay. If he wants to talk privately, we can always disappear into the bedroom or something.”
