Emily and I might have done everything in the wrong order in terms of starting our relationship, but that doesn’t mean we have to end the night with sex.
She looks up at me with those big, green eyes. “Could we take a walk around Central Park? It’s so peaceful at nighttime.”
“That sounds like a great idea.”
I quickly hand over a handful of bills to the valet to hold onto my car for a little longer before looping Emily’s arm through mine and leading her toward of the park.
It’s only a few short blocks away, but we take our time so that we can people-watch and take in the atmosphere of the city as we walk.
As we enter the park, I shrug out of my jacket and wrap it around her shoulders.
She wraps it tighter around herself. “This smells so good.”
“Oh, yeah?”
She nods. “It smells of you.”
“Do you know what else smells like me?”
Emily nibbles on her lower lip, so I place my hand over my heart and feign shock.
“Emily Mullens, were you thinking of my bed? Because that is justdisgraceful.”
She groans, rolling her eyes.
“I was hoping to be wooed before being taken to bed and here you are, jumping right to it. And on a first date, too…”
“Do I need to remind you of the fact that you literally fucked me in a restaurant bathroomyesterday?”
“Oh, I definitely need reminding.” I wrap my arms around her waist and pull her flush against me. “Did it go something like this?”
I lean down and take her lower lip between my teeth.
Emily melts against me, and her hands move to grip my biceps as I force my tongue into her mouth.
She tastes of chocolate, and a moan builds in the back of my throat as our tongues brush against each other.
My cock instantly hardens, and I place a hand on Emily’s lower back to hold her against me so she can feel just how much I want her.
She pants as she pulls away. “We should stop. Before we add public park to the list of inappropriate places we’ve had sex.”
“I know you’re probably right, but I want you so badly right now that I’d be more than happy to go to jail.”
“I don’t think your brothers would be very pleased. I can just imagine Alexei turning up at the police station and saying, ‘Thisis the sort of shit Dimitri would do. I expected better from you, Danil’.” Her voice at the end goes deep and growly.
I laugh. “Was that meant to be Alexei?”
“Was it not convincing?”
“Not in the slightest.”
“Okay, how about this?” She clears her throat. “‘I’m just doing it for the vibes, Alexei. Do I need a better reason than that?’”
I burst out laughing. “I will say, you do a great Dimitri impression.”
“Who am I now?” Emily schools her face into a frown. “You and I both know that everything can be solved with a fight, so you might as well just throw the damn punch.”
I laugh. “That’s easy. Mikhail. Okay, my turn. Who am I?”
