Leaning over her body, I release her hands and hold her face. “You’re not leaving me, Mel. Not ever. Do you understand?”

She groans a reply, her eyes widened as I thrust deeper and deeper. Dragging myself out, I punch my way back in to emphasize the point.

“Lincoln?”

My lips press to her warm throat where I murmur my question, “Yes, my love.”

Her face reaches my ear and sends sparks down my spine as she whispers, “Look around.”

Leaning up on my elbows that cage her head, I behold the wonder of the freshness around us. The moon peeks around its dark cloud to shine on a small pond surrounded by logs perfect for sitting. A rustling of the wind shakes the bare trees which are sprouting their leaves for the oncoming spring.

With reverence, I breathe out, “It’s our place.” My throat constricts as I look down at the love of my life. “Where I first kissed you.”

Her eyes fill with tears as a smile parts her lips. “Yes, Link…Yes.”

Overcome with emotion, I devour her mouth with mine. Our tongues caress, her taste so familiar, the only one I really ever wanted to know. The urgency of my hips slows until I gently stroke myself within the warmth of her walls. Whimpering pants filter through her chest into mine and I swallow them, trying to memorize each one.

Dropping my head next to hers I pick up my pace and tell her what I’ve wanted to since I was a boy. “I love you, Mel. Always have.”

Her fingers grip my neck until I pull back, working my forearm under her head to prop it up so we’re almost connected everywhere. “And I love you. I think I always have, Link.Always.”

“Say it again as you come for me, my prom queen.” Giving her my full length, she rides it out, her hips writhing against my abs.

Wetness coats my dick as her pussy flutters with her orgasm. Her back arches dramatically as she screams into the chill night air, “I love you, Link!”

I can’t contain the broad smile that rips across my lips as I join her. Spilling all my seed as deep into her as I can, I aim for her womb, filling it with all of me.

So we’ll always be tied together.

Forever.

LINCOLN

With a slight shiver underneath me, my love smiles through trembling lips. I take off my coat and throw it over her body, then tighten the belt of her own. Gathering her hands in mine, I lift her up and walk her back to my car.

The chilly night’s air cuts across my palm as I wave it around the woods. “Was this all for me? The chase? Covering the cameras?”

Her arm tightens around my waist as we walk hip to hip. “Yes.”

Despite trying to contain it, my smile invades my lips in a broad grin. Mel’s big eyes blink up at me until her face brightens like mine. “Figured you’d like it. Do I still owe you for high school now?”

“Well, I thought you could make it up to me by marrying me.” We reach my car and I open the door for her, then lean over and kiss the tip of her cold nose. “But I’ll do the full proposal and all that. Where do you want it? A fancy restaurant? A helicopter?”

She swallows as her face drops. A tiny whisper escapes her as if she’s too shy to speak. “How about right here on our log?”

The emotion that hits me warms up my insides more than her body. “Yeah… Yes, my girl. Definitely.”

After slipping into my seat, I blast the heater for her and head toward my place. “Thought we could visit my house, since it’s close.”

She gazes out at the passing neighborhood, focusing out her passenger window. “Link…”

My hand slips under hers on her seat as I gather it in a tight squeeze. “What’s up?”

Finally, her eyes peek at my face. “Did you really switch my birth control?”

I clear my throat. “Would you be mad if I did?”
