“Oh, yeah!” She grins and kisses him. “You were right… I really did feel like a rock star.”

“Mmm…” Kat groans as she turns over and her arm flops against the side of the bed as she wakes. Looking at the clock on her phone. “Oh hell…” she sighs. She’s told herself she wouldn’t do this—she wouldn’t sleep the whole night in Digby’s bed. Determined to keep this about sex, not make it into a ‘proper’ relationship. It was way too early between them to be sleeping the night together—well, in her opinion.
“04:10.” She groans. Sitting herself up, she gathers her thoughts—giving a quick glance to the sound asleep, gorgeously tempting, naked body of Digby laid next to her. But shaking any thoughts of straddling his groin, she gets up and trudges back to the small box-room across the hall.
Flopping down in the cold fold-up bed, she pulls her hand through her tangled hair. She’s exhausted. They’ve only been asleep for a couple of hours, but she can’t help but think about the evening. She had such a good night but about to drift off to sleep, her thoughts suddenly turn to Alyssa.
That bitch trying to get it on with Digby.Luna reminds her—Digby is theirs. The wolf yapping as an angry reminder of Alyssa’s advances are unwelcome and something she just won’t allow.
Sighing, she turns over in the small bed and stares at the closed bedroom door, and her mind now turns to thoughts of the dark corridor at the club. Those closed doors and what might be in the rooms behind them.Darius.He’s such an enigma. Confused by the way he acts around her and also the feelings he causes inside her. Kat can’t decide if he likes or hates her?Is it all still just some mind trick?Maybehypnosis? She doesn’t know, but what she knows is it’s all too much for her brain right now and so she closes her eyes to sleep.

“Hey…” Digby smiles, placing a hot mug of coffee on the nightstand next to her, as he sits on the edge of the fold-up bed. “So, you okay?” He frowns. “Why d’you get up and disappear?”
“I don’t know, really. I just didn’t feel right. Us sleeping the whole night together. This… relationship, I don’t know. I told you I need to slow it down. Last night got a little crazy.”
He leans down and drops a kiss on her lips. “Well, just so we’re clear, it was you beggin’ me for sex last night.”
“Yeah, I know, and it was great sex.” She smiles.
As she sits up, the bed covers fall away from her body, exposing her naked breasts. Digby sighs loudly. His cock is already semi-hard and he strokes his hand gently against her face. “You know, you confuse the hell out of me. I just don’t get this. One minute you wanna fuck me, but then you don’t wanna sleep with me? What the hell is that all about?”
“I don’t know. I guess I’m just scared of where this is going. It feels like you and… her. She’srushing me into something that I’m not sure about.”
“Um-hm.” He strokes at her neck and as is usual she can’t help but respond—nuzzling against his hand. “Well, I think you know where this is goin’. So why don’t you just let me do it?”
“No, see, this is exactly it. I’m not ready—not for that.” She pushes his hand away.
“Sure, you are. Okay… I tell you what, next full moon you’ll let me do it? At least tell me you’ll think about it? Please?”
“Ryan… I don’t know, so please don’t push it. I need to think about it. It’s a big step and… Oh my God… what the hell’s that noise?”
“Hey?! Hey, you up! Diggs… Kat…. are you guys here? Are you awake? Diggs… are you two fuckin’ again?”
“Oh, God, it’s Zak. I thought you said you told them about knocking and waiting?”
“Yeah, I did. Stay there I’ll go tell him… Again!”
Digby sighs as he trudges to the living room. He groans as he watches Zak with a huge smirk on his face, waving the pink vibrator around in the air like a flashlight.
“So, what, you can’t satisfy her now… She’s already resorted to this? You had too much to drink last night and couldn’t get it up?” He chuckles loudly, “You know I told ya, you need a hand with her, I’m here. As ya number two I’m putting myself forward, you just have to ask.”
“Fuck you! Zak, trust me, it’s nothing to do with that. And what the hell are you doin’ here this time of the day? Oh, and what did I tell you about just walkin’ in now?”
“I know, but I had to, um… take Anna back. She had work.” He laughs as Digby grabs the sex-toy throwing it in the corner with the pile of wet clothes from last night. As it lands on the floor, he hears a bleeping of phones—his, Kat’s, and then Zak’s.
“What the fuck is that?”
Zak pulls his cell from his pocket as Digby searches the clothes for their cellphones among the jumble of wet fabric.
“Shit… it’s the base, we gotta go. Looks like we’re gettin’ spun-up.”
As Zak reads out the rest of the text Digby ignores him, lost in his thoughts looking at Kat’s phone notifications.
“Hey, Diggs…. Diggs, you listenin’ to me?” He frowns as he watches him. “Is somethin’ wrong?” A pause for a response, and then; “Diggs I said is somethin’ wrong? You not get the same text as me?” His frown doesn’t disappear as he waits for a response.
