Very tempting.

“You’re busted.” She poked his chest.

“I blame the pussy.” He did his best to keep a straight face.

“When I figure out who taught you that…” she snorted and swatted him.

He chuckled.

“So, what were you doing there, staring at me all silent like a perv?”

“I may have something for you.” He opened his palm revealing the heirloom he intended to give her.

“Usually I don’t let my stalkers bribe me with jewelry, but you’re sexy and that’s gorgeous so…thanks.” She swiped the headpiece from his outstretched hand and attempted to put it on.

Nadzia tried several times to get it over her head then scowled at it.

“It’s not a necklace. Let me help you.” He smiled in amusement.

He stepped behind her, reached around and adjusted the headpiece so the largest yellow gem rested in the center of her forehead.

“Oh. It’s like a crown.” She looked from the headpiece to him in the reflector screen. “Thank you, handsome. Is this why you suggested the yellow dress?”

He shrugged, preoccupied by the way her lush breasts bobbed each time she spoke. Nadzia spun away from the reflector giving him a much closer view of her pert rosy nipples.

“Hey, is this what you’re wearing? I’m not versed in Osivoire high fashion, but I’m pretty sure this isn’t it.”

He crowded her against the counter. “Female, don’t tempt me to take off my clothes,” he warned.

“We could be late to the party, make a grand entrance.” Nadzia coyly bit her lip.

He groaned and looked up at the ceiling. She wasn’t making this easy.

“I’m not dressed yet, and unfortunately I will be a bit late. But have a good time with your matron, I know she is still concerned about how you’re doing, and I’ll be there shortly,” he encouraged.

“You want me to go to our party by myself?” she glared at him suspiciously.

He grimaced.

“Spill it, bonehead.”

“Jyk is refusing to speak to anyone but me,” he admitted.

“I’m going with you,” Nadzia insisted.

“Ivory beauty, this may not…”

“He tortured Pro, and killed others, Makissa and Costa to name a few. I’m going.” She brooked no argument, standing there, her arms crossed over her bare breasts, her hip cocked to one side.

He wanted her even more, but now wasn’t the time, and from the determined look on her face she’d probably break him if he tried to distract her with sex. Aculus sighed.

“Why do I feel like I’m going to spend most of our life trying to keep you safe only to get put in my place?” he asked.

“It’s called a partnership.” She smiled sweetly at him, patted his chest and walked out of the washroom.

Nadzia

“This could get messy, so please stay back,” Aculus instructed.
