She opens her legs, and without much finesse, I push her legs wider and slide myself right in. “Fuck,” I hiss.

“Take what you need, Felix.” Harper whimpers in my ear, and I do, unabashedly I fuck her as if she was my very own fuck toy, all the while, she is scratching my back, urging me to fuck her harder until I can’t contain it any longer, and I’m pushed over the edge.

“Sorry.” I groan as I bite her shoulder.

“Don’t apologize, that was hot. Sometimes being taken hot and hard is all you need.”

“But you didn’t come,” I say, looking up into her blue eyes.

“Yeah, but I feel satisfied. Believe me,” she says, reassuring me.

“I’m glad I’m here with you,” I confess as I gently kiss her shoulder.

Harper smiles. “Me too. You’re very good at distracting my thoughts from what I left behind.”

“As are you,” I say, caressing her face. “I’ve never met a woman like you.”

“Is that a compliment or …?”

This makes me laugh. “It’s a compliment for sure. You make me feel comfortable talking to you and being around you. I loved hanging out today, it was easy. And after the last two years of dating my ex, who I now realize was high maintenance, it’s been nice to chill with someone instead of being alone.”

“Aw, thanks.” She grins before leaning down and kissing me quickly. “I’m kind of glad I have someone to hang out with. Yes, we can go out and spend the entire day fucking people, but I know when I come back to my empty bungalow, my mind is going to go into overdrive and I’m going to spiral about that fucking asshole for no reason.”

“I was thinking the same thing. I like being alone but not at the moment when my mind wanders to them,” I confess.

“We’re a right, whiney pair, aren’t we?” Harper chuckles. “But thanks for being my sounding board.”

“Anytime, and right back at you.” I feel my dick start to deflate. Awkward. “Come on, let’s get you cleaned up for dinner. I’m starving.”

“Aren’t you always,” she teases.

HARPER

I’m taking Felix to the waterfall today, he’s in for a treat. Last night, we spent the night in the pool after dinner, lazing around and looking up at the stars. We ordered champagne and beers and talked. Which we seem to do a lot of. He’s just so easy to talk to. He told me about the tattoos on his arms and when he got them, he told me hilarious stories of him and his teammates and the stuff they would get up to while away. He spoke about his best goals and even showed me some on his phone. I then told him about the shit his brother used to get up to in high school so he could use it as leverage over the dinner table. His words. He asked about growing up in a hotel. I told him stories about the stupid stuff I used to do and how we spent summers in the South with Kimberly and her family. I told him about how I met my other best friend, Camryn, then I gave him the tea on how Camryn organized her own boyfriend’s engagement party. His mind was blown over that. I gave him the gossip about my brother Sam and Kimberly and how I think something has started up again between them. I know things happened between them when we were kids, but since The Paradise Club opening, there’s been a vibe there. Kimberly istight-lipped, but I also know Sam is dating other women, so I’m not sure what’s happening. We sat in the pool laughing all night, getting drunk. If this was a date, I would have given it a ten out of ten, it was great.

“You’ve talked up this waterfall thing, hope it lives up to expectations,” Felix teases as we drive the golf cart through the jungle toward the waterfall area.

“Trust me, the things I’ve seen at that pool and in the grotto.” I whistle as we bump around on the dirt paths.

Eventually, we make it to the other side of the island and park the golf cart. We grab our stuff and walk along the path toward the tropical pool. The pool looks like the size of a lake, nothing but endless blue and green, and the roar of the waterfall that falls behind it emerges from the greenery. I point out to Felix that there is a path you take that is carved into the rock and leads you to the grotto under the waterfall. He’s keen to try that out later. There are probably about fiftyish people lying around the pool, some are on the sun loungers, and some are in the large day beds that look like cocoons. People are swimming naked, some with boardshorts on, some topless, and some indulging in spicy activities.

A host greets us at the entrance and walks us to the cocoon that I’ve reserved. We order water and drinks with the host and settle in. I’m wearing a skimpy black bikini which captures Felix’s attention as I take off my sundress.

“Fuck, Harper, you’ve already given me half a bar,” he mumbles as those hazel eyes roam over my body, appreciating it.

“What about now?” I grin as I undo the straps of my bikini and let it drop in front of him.

“Fuck, woman,” he growls, grabbing me and pulling me to him as he kisses me. His hand slides up over my body and squeezes my breasts a couple of times before stepping back.“Is this your plan, to have me fuck you in front of all these wandering eyes?”

I bite my lip, liking the thought of it. “We’re here to have fun with whomever we like.” That dark brow raises high. “I left you hanging this morning after you woke me up with an orgasm, I think it’s only fair that I find someone to help repay the favor.”

“Seems only fair,” he grins, “have any ideas?”

“Did you notice the gorgeous redhead when we arrived?” I ask him.

“I might have,” he answers.
