“It’s going to kill me not being able to tell him.”
“I know. I promise I am working on saving her, she needs to be home with us.”
“Has she been in Mexico the entire time?” he asks.
“Yes. Apparently, she was told the same story I was that I vanished, and they didn’t know where I was.”
“Shit, they kept you apart.”
“Yes. But it doesn’t matter now. We’ve found her. She is alive and that’s all that matters,” I tell him.
“Agreed. When are you coming home?” he asks.
“Within the week.”
“I can’t wait to see you. I miss you,” my brother tells me.
“I miss you, too. Didn’t think Ibiza would feel like home but it does,” I confess to him.
“The Clark family do have that effect on you.” He chuckles.
“I’m so happy you and Grace are together again.”
“You made this happen, I wouldn’t have a second chance without you.” His appreciation tugs at the tiny thread inside me. “I hope one day you are as happy as I am.”
I am.I nearly say the words to my brother, but I don’t think now is the time to drop the bombshell that I’m seeing someone. “Me too.”
“Good luck. Please do not get yourself killed and let me know if you need anything.”
“I promise I won’t die,” I tell him.
“Good because I’ll never forgive you if you do.” I can hear the chuckle in his voice. “Please look after yourself.”
“You know I always do.”
“I’m your big brother, I will always worry about you. Okay. Talk soon,” he tells me before hanging up.
That wasn’t so bad.

“You know our little bubble is about to burst,” I mention to Elena as we head to the Tulum Heliport to pick up Sophie and Brooks who have just arrived.
“I know.” She sighs.
“You’re still sleeping in my bed,” I warn her.
“Am I now?” She smirks at me.
“Yes.” There is no way I am giving up her warm body for anyone.
“Are we telling Sophie and Brooks about us then?” she asks.
My brows pull together. “He warned me not to sleep with you, so yeah, I think he’s going to be pissed.
“Brooks warned you?” she questions me.
