A small smile played on Caleb's lips, and he leaned in to press a tender kiss to her forehead. "We'll take it slow," he promised, his hand tracing soothing circles on her back. "And if at any point you want to stop, we stop. No questions asked."

Fiona let out a breath she didn't realize she'd been holding, the tension in her shoulders easing slightly. "Thank you, Caleb," she murmured, her hand coming up to cup his cheek. "That means a lot to me."

Their eyes locked, a silent conversation passing between them. Then, with a gentleness that belied his strength, Caleb rolled them over so that Fiona was lying on top of him. The new position surprised a laugh out of her, the sound light and airy in the otherwise quiet room.

"What's so funny?" Caleb asked, a playful glint in his eyes.

"Nothing," Fiona said, shaking her head. "It's just... I never imagined my first time would be on top of an alpha wolf."

Caleb chuckled, his hands sliding down to grip her hips. "Well, I aim to please," he said, his tone teasing. "And for the record, I'm honored to be your first."

Fiona's cheeks flushed at his words, and she leaned down to capture his lips in a searing kiss. The taste of him was intoxicating.

As their kiss deepened, Fiona could feel the evidence of Caleb's arousal pressing against her. She rocked her hips experimentally, eliciting a low groan from him.

"You're doing great," Caleb said, his voice strained with the effort of holding back. "Just follow your instincts."

Emboldened by his words, Fiona reached between them, her fingers wrapping gently around his hard length. She positionedhim at her entrance tentatively, the tip of him teasing her with the promise of what was sure to come.

"Ready?" Caleb asked softly, his blue eyes searching hers.

Fiona nodded, her throat too tight to speak. She bore down on him slowly, the initial stretch bordering on discomfort but quickly giving way to a feeling of fullness that was both overwhelming and exhilarating.

Caleb's hands tightened on her hips, his body tensing beneath her as he fought to maintain control. "Fiona," he breathed, his voice filled with awe. "You feel incredible."

Fiona smiled, her body adjusting to the new sensation. She began to move, her rhythm tentative at first but growing more confident with each thrust. The sound of their bodies coming together, the soft gasps and moans that filled the room, only served to heighten her arousal.

"Touch yourself," Caleb urged her, his eyes dark with desire. "I want to watch you come undone."

Fiona's handslipped tentatively between her legs, her fingers finding the bundle of nerves that throbbed with need. The added stimulation sent waves of pleasure coursing through her, each one more intense than the last.

"Caleb," she gasped, her movements becoming more frantic as she felt herself hurtling towards the edge. "I'm... I'm close."

"Let go, Fiona," Caleb said, his voice a low growl that resonated within her. "I've got you."

With a final, shuddering cry, Fiona tumbled over the edge, her body convulsing with the force of her orgasm. Caleb followed soon after, his own release triggering a second wave of pleasure for her.

As they laid there in the aftermath, their bodies still intimately connected, Fiona couldn't help but marvel at the turnher life had taken. She had come to Saltwater Grove looking for a fresh start, never imagining that she would find love in the arms of an alpha wolf.

CALEB

The sun cast long shadows across the pack arena as Caleb walked hand-in-hand with Fiona through the gathering crowd. Members of both packs filled the stone bleachers surrounding the dirt fighting ring, their voices a low murmur of anticipation.

"Say it again," Fiona demanded, squeezing his hand. Her green eyes blazed with determination, but Caleb caught the slight tremor in her voice.

"I promised you I wouldn't lose, and I won't." He pulled her closer, breathing in her scent. "Victor may think he's destined for greatness, but I've got something worth fighting for."

"Just remember that fire witch who'll kick your ass if you break that promise." A smile tugged at her lips despite the worry lines creasing her forehead.

"Wouldn't dream of it. Your temper's scarier than Victor could ever be." Caleb brushed a strand of red hair from her face, his touch lingering on her cheek.

Across the arena, Victor stood with his pack, chest puffed out like a peacock trying to impress his followers. The sight made Caleb roll his eyes.

"Look at him preening over there," Caleb muttered. "You'd think he was accepting an award instead of getting ready for a fight."

"Well, his ego is big enough to need its own zip code." Fiona's quip drew a genuine laugh from him.
