I know Sam isn't here, and I know moving on is normal. It’s just hard to actuallymove on.

But last night. My toes curl just remembering how last night felt.

I’ve never experienced pleasure like that.

Pushing the thoughts from my mind, I undress and get in the shower, washing quickly because my stomach is growling and I can smell something heavenly coming from the kitchen.

I toss on jeans and a big t-shirt, and don't bother drying my hair.

“Ok, whatever you made smells incredible.” I say as I walk out petting Pudding on the way.

Logan is plating what looks like ham and cheese omelets, with some coffee and fruit. I didn't even know I had eggs.

He freezes when he sees me.

Setting everything down, he walks over to me and runs his hands up the sides of my face and into my hair, giving me a smile, followed by a deep kiss.

When he pulls back, I’m left feeling dizzy.

“You are so beautiful, Charlie.” he leans in and whispers in my ear.

Goosebumps spread like a wildfire.

“So are you.” I smile, and he pulls me into a hug.

My head rests perfectly on his chest, his chin on my head, and I breathe in his scent.

I could stay like this forever.

I feel him chuckle. “You think I’m beautiful?”

“I do.” I smile into him.

We stay like this, until my stomach growls and reminds me how hungry I am.

After we eat, we drive over to his house, bringing Pudding with us, per Sarah’s request.

“Pudding!” I hear Hazel yell from the porch. “I’ve been dying to meet this dog, thank you for bringing him Charlie!”

“Aw, you're welcome. You promise to keep him company today? He’s pretty needy.”

I bend down and scratch behind his ears.

“I promise.” she squeals. “Come on Pudding! Let's go play barbies!”

I stand, laughing as they run off.

“Thanks for bringing him.” Sarah says, stepping out with coffee in her hand.

“Oh no problem. Thank you for offering to watch him. I hate leaving him alone.”

“Anytime. Where are you two headed again?”

“I’m driving her over to Sage Valley, to sign for her new shop.” Logan says, coming up behind me smiling.

Those dimples will be the death of me.

She just smiles, watching him, and I wonder if she knows.
