“I’m gonna do that to you for the rest of your life,” Fanatic murmured happily.

“You have my permission to,” I replied, smiling.

Grey and I had an active and enjoyable sex life. That was something I’d missed. Grey had been my only lover until now, and thankfully, Fanatic was fully up to the task of keeping me happy. I was one lucky bitch!

A week later

Hellfire, Hellions, Rage, Old Ladies, and Holy Terrors all came together at the Hellfire compound to celebrate the multi-million-dollar deal Jett and Fanatic had signed.

To our surprise, at the last minute, the biggest bike chain in the world placed a counteroffer. That had caused massive amounts of consternation.Jett and Fanatic had been sitting withthe Harley Davidson representatives. The new offer was an extra half of the Harley Davidson offer.

Their lawyers had instantly contacted their head office while Fanatic and Jett discussed what was best to do. The opposition’s lawyer was also standing by and looked rather smug. Clearly, he’d been told to wait for a reply.

Harley Davidson came back and matched the bid, and mere minutes later, the opposition once again outbid them. Fanatic, seeing where this was heading, held a hand up and explained he and Jett would only sign with Harley as that’s what they rode. They appreciated the offer, but at the end of the day, they were Harley Davidson riders.

In response to their loyalty, Harley also threw in a free bike once every three years for them both. Which made Fanatic and Jett over the moon as they loved their bikes. I planned to tell Apache to design a double storey garage for Fanatic and me because Fanatic wouldn’t get rid of a single one, that was for sure.

Now, the clubs were finally celebrating their ingenious design and their luck. They’d been featured in several magazine articles and had done a couple of car show TV interviews. Both of them were amused at their sudden celebrity status but didn’t pay too much attention to it.

A whistle broke through the crowd, and everybody looked to Chance. He stood on a table to get everyone’s eyes.

“Where’s my damn prospect?” Chance howled.

“Where you left me!” Fanatic quipped from the beer keg. Everyone laughed, and Fanatic began making his way over.

“Well, my mouthy fuckin’ prospect has something he wanted to say,” Chance said with a scowl, and made everyone laugh again.

Fanatic stepped up onto the table and eyed Chance. “Get down. You ain’t a part of this,” Fanatic demanded, and Chance frowned.

“I should be!”

“Get down!” Fanatic howled.

Chance began laughing as he climbed down. Rooster handed Chance a box.

“Willow?” Fanatic called, and I stepped forward. I’d an inkling what this concerned. A happy feeling swept through me, but I thought of my old cut, and the pain hit deep.

“Here.”

“Love you, ain’t no two ways about it. And I’m claiming you as my old lady if you’ll accept. And babe, marry me?” Fanatic said.

Wow, that wasn’t the most romantic proposal ever. But I saw Fanatic’s nerves and grinned.

“Is that a yes?” Fanatic asked.

“Ummm….”

“Willow!”

“What? Oh, okay, yes!” I squealed, and everyone laughed.

“This is a cut with a difference. There’s a brother missing who should be here today. In claiming Willow, I’m not going to forget my friend. Grey was everything we should aim to be. Loyal, respectful, steadfast, strong, and many other things. I couldn’t claim his widow without a nod to Grey. Chance gave me permission for this.”

Chance handed Fanatic the box as I wiped tears from my face. Fanatic held up my old lady cut, and I gaped. Gasps rose around us, and several eyes cut to Chance, who looked placid although smug. The Hellfire patch was prominent on the back, like everyone else’s cuts.

Fanatic’s old lady was across the bottom, as it should be. But on my left-hand shoulder was a small Rage MC patch with the name Grey scrolling through it and a cross with his date of death.

“And while you’re quiet, your ring embraces both Grey and me. It’s a different style, as you can see, but it has a sapphire to honour him.”
