Harper tapped her chin. “Actually, I don’t think so…” A grin played on her lips before she took a long sip of her drink. “Thank you.”

“Anytime, sweetheart.” I put my arm over her shoulder and led her to the back porch through the sliding glass door. “Are you ready to soak in my hot tub?”

Harper’s eyes bulged when she saw the steaming, bubbling hot tub. “Oh my God! I love hot tubs!” She jumped up and down and it was so fucking adorable. “Why didn’t you tell me before?”

“I wanted to surprise you.”
