“Yes, bras and underwear. Underthings.”

“And that would stop them from knowing what I look like more than a closed robe?”

I thought about it, and she was right. They could still figure it out. “I changed my mind. We’re going to start dressing you like the women in that show.”

I grabbed her arm and dragged her to the closet, searching for anything I could find that might fully cover her.

“That show? And what show would that be?”

“You know, the one we were watching last night. With the time traveler.”

She burst out laughing. “Outlander? You want me to dress like I’m in the 1700s?”

“Yes.”

“Not gonna happen.”

I shoved hanger after hanger aside, looking through the clothes we unloaded just yesterday. There had to be something in here that was suitable. “Don’t you have anything that doesn’t show off your tits and ass? Everything in here is revealing.”

“Sorry, I forgot my medieval costume in another time.”

“Wrong historical time period,” I muttered, continuing my search.

When I realized there was nothing I could possibly get her to wear, I walked over to my dresser and jerked the drawers open. “Until further notice, you are not to go anywhere unless you’re dressed in sweatpants and a sweatshirt.”

“Seriously?” she snorted.

I shoved them at her, but she didn’t take them. They fell to the floor at her feet in a lump. “Nice try. Go make breakfast. I’ll be down in a minute.”

“But—”

She spun on me, pressing me against the dresser. “I’m sorry, did you want to see me naked again?”

I gritted my teeth, holding onto her waist and only barely keeping my nails from digging into her flesh. “I’ll be downstairs,” I muttered when it was clear I wasn’t getting anywhere.

I ignored the smug look on her face and threw the door open, stomping down the stairs. Except, when I got there, it wasn’t just IRIS in my kitchen. Thumper was there, along with Kavanaugh, Scottie Dog, Eli, Rae, Dash, Lock, Edu…hell, as I looked around, it was pretty much everyone from OPS in my living room, all of them talking over one another.

“Hey!”

But that didn’t get their attention.

I put my fingers to my mouth and whistled loudly, finally getting everyone to quiet down. “What the fuck is going on? Why is everyone here?”

Rae looked around and shrugged. “We’re hungry.”

“And you couldn’t get food at your own house?”

“No one’s home,” Red muttered.

That couldn’t be right. “Not a single woman is at home?”

“Or man,” Rae snapped.

“I didn’t realize you made Duke cook.”

“Make? No, he enjoys serving me. But he’s not there this morning.”

“And…so you all came here.”
