“Mmm, that was good.” Kane hummed happily as he stretched out and I gently released him so he could slide off my cock. There were red marks from my hands and his hole glistened with my cum. He looked over his shoulder and grinned at me, the picture of pure fucked-out bliss as he rolled onto his back and spread his legs around me so I could lean down and kiss him.
“Sex with you always is,” I said, brushing my lips against his.
Kane opened his mouth like he was about to tell me off for being a cocky dick. But then his fucked-out brain realised what I’d said and he chuckled softly. “You’re not bad yourself.”
I grinned. “I like to think I’m fairly talented.”
“Eh, I suppose. Middling.”
“Middling?” I nipped his lip playfully. “Is that a challenge, kitten?”
“Maybe… but…” He gasped as I straightened up, dropped to my knees, and pulled his ass to the edge of the bed. I gently pulled his cheeks apart, humming with satisfaction at the sight of his hole dripping with cum. “What are you—”
I looked up at him and grinned as I leant forward, ready to savour the taste of us and eat him until he screamed. “Gonna prove to you just how fucking talented I am, sweetheart. How many times do you think you can come for me?”
It was nearly ten the next morning by the time Kane emerged from his room, soft brown hair tousled and beautiful eyes still full of sleep. He’d pulled on a pair of grey joggers before he’d stumbled downstairs and into the kitchen, and my eyes lingered on the marks I’d sucked onto his chest at some point in the early hours.
“Good morning, sunshine,” I said brightly, grabbing the kettle to fill it up and flick it on. “How’re you feeling?”
“Tired… my thighs are a bit sore… but good.” He walked over to me and flopped into my arms, and I had a sudden realisation that Kane might not be much of a morning person. The last time we’d stayed together had been in a hotel, and he’d gotten up early to sneak out before anyone saw him. He’d seemed fine then, if a little on edge, but here in his own home where he was truly relaxed, it was obvious mornings weren’t his thing when they didn’t have to be.
“I’m sorry. That fourth round was probably a mistake,” I said, kissing the top of his head.
He chuckled softly, his face still buried in my neck. “No, it was good. I just don’t want to do much today.” He put his arm around me and kissed my neck. “Do you have any plans?”
“No, not really. I’m getting a train back to York later but that’s about it.”
I’d never intended to move into the North, but I’d visited the city on a whim once when I’d first met up with Theo and fallen in love with it. It was so different from London that going there really felt like home. I’d bought two adjoining town houses there last year, one for me to live in and one to turn into a home-based studio with plenty of different rooms to film in.
Buying both had been an extravagance, but I could afford it and it meant I could put some separation between work and reality. Plus I always had somewhere nice to film, where nobody could complain or kick me out when they realised what I was doing, and I could easily vary the sets given how many rooms there were. And the studio house was on the end of the terrace, which meant there were no neighbours on the other side to complain about the noise.
All in all, it was a fabulous setup and I was very proud of it.
“Want to hang out today?” Kane asked quietly. “We could just watch some movies? Maybe play some games—I’ve got a PS4. And we could order some food.”
My heart skidded for a second and I swallowed. “Yeah… yeah, that sounds great.” I kissed the top of his head again, hoping he couldn’t hear how fast my heart was racing. “I’m still going to make you breakfast, though. What do you fancy? I make pretty good French toast.”
“That sounds amazing, thank you.” He tilted his head up to kiss me, his lips soft and sweet.
“Awesome, French toast coming right up.”
Kane grinned and then frowned as the sound of a vibrating phone cut the air. He reached into his pocket as I stepped away, heading for the kettle which had just finished boiling.
“Hello?” Kane asked. He suddenly straightened up and I watched him with interest. “Yes, hi! Lovely to hear from you. Yes… oh, yes… that’s… Tuesday? At ten? Yes, I can do that. Yes, please do send everything over. If you can cc Miles in too, thatwould be great. Thank you! I’m looking forward to it. Thank you so much!”
I knew what it was even though he hadn’t said it. He almost didn’t need to. His face was full of pure excitement and wonder as he turned to me, phone in hand. Joy swelled within me and I felt like I was going to burst.
This man. This fucking beautiful man.
I’d never been prouder of anyone in my life.
“I… I got a callback,” Kane said softly, huffing out a laugh of disbelief. “ForLlewelyn. They want me to come in and do a chemistry read.”
CHAPTER TEN
Kane
If I’d thoughtI was nervous about my first audition, it was nothing compared to the terror I felt getting out of the taxi for my chemistry read.
