He took her mouth like he owned itandher. He nipped at her lips until she parted them, and then he was inside of her.
And she never wanted it to end.
Levi lifted Sara into his arms the minute the hotel room door slammed shut. He carried her toward the bed before placing her on her feet.
She had convinced him to have a few drinks at the club, and Levi was sure that was why he was there with her at the Hilton near a bed instead of hightailing it out of there.
He wasn’t clear-headed at all.
Who the fuck was he trying to kid? He had his lips on her skin way before the whiskeys over ice.
“Look! There’s a mini bar, I told you,” she laughed, making her way over and pouring two drinks. “Put on some music.”
He tugged out his phone and pulled up a playlist that Michelle had put on his phone the previous week.
Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran played and Sara laughed.
“That’s your playlist?” she asked, walking over to hand him a glass of amber liquor over ice.
“Michelle put it on there,” he admitted sheepishly.
“So, what brings the big bad bodyguard from Seattle to California?” She slanted him a look from beneath her lashes.
“I’m looking for someone.”
“And who would that be?”
“I wonder,” Levi smirked at the tipsy beauty.
Sara giggled and sipped at her glass and then moved closer to him. She was dancing again, and Levi didn’t mind it. Her moves were perfect. Her free hand slipped up his chest and unbuttoned his dress shirt down to his waist, and then her palm slipped over his skin.
She sang the song on his playlist in between sips from her glass.
Her voice was low and throaty and a touch off key, but she knew every word by heart and he fucking loved it.
She was so spontaneous and he was…well, he wasn’t.
He swallowed his drink and placed the glass aside. When she drank the last of hers, he set her empty glass aside as well.
She danced away from him, and he swiped a hand to catch her, but missed.
Sara giggled and danced back toward him.
Levi stood still. The room spun just a bit and he knew he’d had way too much to fucking drink.
He wasn’t sure where this was going.
Oh, he knew where hewantedit to go, but this was her call.
Levi was insanely attracted to Sara and he knew the alcohol he’d consumed had lowered his resolve to stay away from her.
But fuck if he cared right now.
When she danced back to him, Sara stood on her toes and kissed his mouth.
His blood pumped.
She nipped at his lips like he had done to hers on the dance floor. She swayed, and he knew she was probably as tipsy as he was.
