I grip her tight to me, knowing how very blessed I am to have my Jules in my life. And my sweetheart upstairs, getting ready for our evening at-home date. “I love you so fucking much, Jules.” We hold each other while swaying slowly, then walk hip to hip toward the dining room.

“Well, Mr. Cash. You certainly outdid yourself.”

The caterer I hired made all of Jules’ favorite dishes and desserts. Sneakily, I gathered that same information from Valentina. Each of my ladies has a full bouquet of flowers in front of her chair. The jewelry boxes in my pockets feel heavy, but I still feel for them to make sure they are still there.

“Yep. You both deserve it.”

Our attention diverts to the stunning woman who appears in the doorway wearing a long, sparkling gown. I’d given her my card to go crazy, getting whatever she wanted for the evening. And I’m so happy I did.

Between Jules’ white dress and Valentina’s black one, I feel like I’ve got all bases covered in my life. My heart has never been more full. I gather my wife’s hand and lead her toward my girlfriend, and the three of us embrace. I press my lips to Val’s, then Jules’, then sigh happily.

“Carson… this is amazing! I’ve never had a Valentine’s Day like this!” Valentina’s eyes shine bright as she takes in the candlelit dinner table. “You got my favorites!”

My lips raise into a smirk as I help both ladies by pushing in their chairs.

“Do you want your gifts now or later?”

“Now!” Valentina says at the same time Jules yells, “Later!”

I chuckle and dig a small box from my right pocket and sit between the two of them. “Fine. I’ll give it to my sweetheart now. And my Jules’ later.”

Turning toward her, I let my thighs envelop Valentina’s as she eagerly awaits my presentation. Lifting the box up for her, I clear my throat.

“Valentina, you’re so much more than I expected. Not only that, but I never thought I’d have room in my heart for more than my Juliet. But after knowing you, my world has expanded. Your compassion for others, and tender, gentle nature, is admirable. You’re different from Jules in a way that you complete us. If you weren’t with us, my life wouldn’t be the same anymore. I can’t live without you. I can’t marry you officially, but please know, I love you just as I do my wife. And this…” I pop the top of the box, and her palms fly to her cheeks as she gasps. “This ring is a symbol of that love and commitment from me, to you and to Juliet. You’ll both be my wives, if you’ll let me have you. Will you marry me?”

My heart thuds harder in my chest, suddenly feeling very insecure. What if she doesn’t want this? What if she’s scared by how quickly everything has happened? I don’t know if I can take it if she wants to leave.

Her big brown eyes shift from my face to Jules’, who has her hand rubbing my back, soothing my anxiety like she just knows.

“Don’t look at me!” Juliet says. “I am backing him up on this. I want you to be his wife, too.”

Valentina’s chest rises and falls rapidly, two tears escaping from the corners of her eyes. “Yes.” She sniffs and we grab on to each other. When she breaks away from me, she holds my cheeks in her warm hands. “I love you, too. So much, Carson. I never expected any of this to happen. I’m not going anywhere.”

My face heats with the warmth of her confession as I slide the ring onto her finger. Our foreheads meet as she chuckles a breath onto my lips. “If you want a wedding, we can have one. Up to you.”

She sits back and glances around the table. “I’m not really one for big celebrations, if that’s okay.”

Tossing my arm across the back of her chair, I grip the stem of my champagne glass. “Absolutely fine with me. Let’s toast to our new relationship. To my wife, Juliet, and to my fiancée, Valentina, I vow to love you and cherish you both, from this Valentine’s Day until my last.”

The three of us clink glasses, then take sips while Jules places her hand on my thigh and I squeeze it.

We finish our dinner, reminiscing about the last few weeks together. After I place Juliet’s new triple interlocking heart pendant around her neck, Jules and Valentina admire the piece. But this somehow devolves into a squabble about Val not eating enough. When I pipe in with an opinion, both scold me for dirtying up the bathroom.

Maybe there are downfalls to having two women tell me what to do.

But I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

“Are you both going to get on me about how I drive when we go on road trips, too?”

“Yep,” they say simultaneously.

With a shrug, I smirk. “Well, I guess that’s what they make loud music for.”

The two slap my shoulders playfully and laugh.

I tug both of them up while shouldering off my sports coat. “Come on. Let’s go make some babies.”

By the time we get to the bedroom, I’ve shredded my shirt and have my belt undone. Juliet unzips Valentina, who then turns and helps her undress as well.
