The doctor smiled. “That said, while your situation is rare, it is not unheard of. We know how to handle an AO twin pregnancy, and I’m sure everything will end up just fine.”
Gray damned well hoped so.

Three’s a crowd…
Rohan heard Jamie and Jefre returning from the doctor’s visit. He rose from his desk and wandered out to see how the appointment had gone—only to see Gray was with them. Their eyes met. Gray gave him an odd look before looking down at the floor.
“What’s going on?”
“Gray has come to live with us,” Jamie announced, a broad smile on his face.
Rohan frowned. He tried to search Gray’s face again, but the man wouldn’t look at him. “Shouldn’t we have… discussed this?”
“We had an appointment today… remember? The one I asked you to go to?”
Rohan sighed. “Yes, I remember.”
“Well, we have huge news,” Jamie said. He looked to Gray and grinned. “You want to tell him?”
“No… this is your news, not mine.”
Jamie looked like he could bounce out of his wheelchair. Even Rohan had a hard time not smiling, given how animated his omega looked.
“Twins!”
Rohan’s eyes widened. “What?”
“There’s a little twin hiding under the bigger twin,” Jamie said, his eyes shining with excitement. His smiled faded some. “There is a little concern because he is so small. The doctor is going to start monitoring the situation very closely from here on in. We have to go see him every week now, not every month. And Gray needs to go on bedrest.”
Two babies?Rohan took a moment to mentally chew through all that information before he looked to Gray.
“Jamie suggested I should stay here. I told him it wasn’t a good idea, but he wouldn’t listen to me.”
“Rohan… he’ll be confined to a bed for two months. We were already going to hire a cook and a manservant to help around the house once the baby came. We’djustbe doing it a little sooner than later,” Jamie cooed.
Rohan felt his omega trying to manipulate the situation. “What about his nephews? He can’t leave them alone in the O Quad.”
“They can come here, too,” Jamie said. “You’re going to love Lake and little Auggie. He is just the sweetest. Auggie. Not Lake. Lake is a teenager, and you know how teenagers are… but they can stay here, right?”
Rohan opened his mouth to argue and saw the look in Jamie’s eyes.
There would be no arguing. His omega had already made up his mind.
“Right. Of course. I’ll go ahead and call the service about the cook and manservant in the morning.”
“Perfect,” Jamie said, clapping his hands together. “We’ll be one big, happy family.”
Rohan shook his head. He scrubbed his face with both hands. When he lifted his stare, he looked at Gray—who still stood in the middle of the foyer.
“If he’s on bedrest, shouldn’t he be in bed?” Rohan asked.
Gray met his stare.
“Can you show him to a room?” Jamie asked, leaning back in his chair. “I’m just exhausted and want Jefre to take me up.”
“Of course,” Rohan mumbled. He glanced at Gray. “Follow me.”
