His name is David Crow, but Savvy’s been calling him Shrek, so that's what we’re going to call him.

“Here we are,” I tell her as we pull up to a run-down house.

“This place is a dump,” she comments, leaning forward to look out the windshield. “You would think Corbin would have paid him enough to live in a better place than this.” She snorts. “Glad the fucker didn’t get to have any luxuries. He got to be someone’s little bitch and now he gets to die a miserable fucker. Meanwhile, I get to live like a motherfucking queen.” She grins.

“Yes, you do, Baby Girl.” I take her hand, ignoring the rat’s hissing, and kiss the back of it. She smiles, her cheeks blushing in the moonlight. It makes my dick hard.

Now is not the time to be turned on, but really, I don’t think there's ever a time I’m not hard when she’s around. I’d say it’s becoming an issue, but I really don’t care.

“So, what's the plan?”

“We sneak in, drug him, tie him to a bed, and have some fun before finishing him off. Sadly, we don’t get to enjoy his screams, as I don’t want to attract attention from his neighbors.” She pouts. “But we can still have fun. Let’s go.”

She opens the door, and Thor skitters out.

“Should we have parked further away from the house?” I ask, looking around. It’s dark, and no other houses seem to have their lights on. Honestly, they look abandoned to me. But what if someone sees the car? Takes a photo?

What the fuck am I about to do?

I’m a damn cop. I could lose my job over this. Am I really about to sit and watch while my Omega kills someone?

The thought both thrills me and has me on edge.

“We'll be fine.” She waves me off. “I have the license plate covered. This is one of Duchess’s work cars. It won’t get traced back to us.

Standing in front of some guy’s house that she’s about to kill, I watch the little rat climb his way up the side of the house towards the open window.

My Omega, my girl, is a crazy serial killer with a pet raccoon, with whom she has full-on, one-sided conversations. Yet, when she looks over at me with a bright smile that makes my heart do funny things and says, “Ready?” I know I’d get down on my knees and crawl to her, letting her do anything she wants to me, and be right by her side for whatever crazy, out there adventure she wants to go on.

“Anything for you, Baby Girl,” I answer, running a hand through her hair.

I’ve used my position as a cop to do some illegal things, but I did that to make sure the bad guys got put behind bars and stayed there.

Have I thought about killing some sick bastards? Sure, but did I? No, not even when my sister hit me up with an offer.

Guess things have changed.

Not sure if I’ll be able to actually take a life, but I’ll stand by and cheer my girl on while she does. And I know I’m gonna love every moment of it.

I’m about to see just how unhinged my girl is.

Savannah goes around to the trunk and grabs a backpack. What's inside, I have no idea.

“How do we do this?” I ask as I observe the house. “We going in that open window?” I point towards where the little rat disappeared. “Back door, basement?”

“Nope,” Savannah answers as she walks up to the front door.

“Ahh, so we’re just going through the front? Do you have a key? I could pick the lock.” My eyes light up. “Doesn’t look too hard.”

“No need,” she says, and a second later, the sound of a lock being turned and the door swinging open has me reaching for my gun.

When I don’t see anyone standing there, my eyes drop to see Thor.

“See?” Savannah grins. “He’s a big help.”

“Huh.” I put my gun away. “Guess so.” I glare down at the little shit.

Stepping inside, Savannah locks the door behind us.
