“I’m gonna go to the bathroom real quick, then we can get out of here. I’ll meet you in the car.”

My fingers curl as my nostrils flare.

“Sounds good.” She winks before turning around and walking away.

Did she just wink at my Alpha? Oh, that's it. When I’m done with him, she’s next.

Caleb walks through the men’s room door.

Grinning like a psychopath, I quickly rush over to it.

Slipping inside, I see him standing with his back to me, humming as he pees at one of the urinals.

Using the things I’ve brought with me, I wet the cloth with the chloroform before slipping the vial into my back pocket.

Like a sneaky ninja, I tiptoe my way over to him. And just as he zips himself up, I launch myself at him, jumping on his back like a spider monkey.

He shouts, but I muffle it with the cloth.

“Shhhh,” I soothe him. “Be a good Alpha and go to sleep.”

He tries to fight me off, but I hang on for dear life. Thankfully, it works fast, and he drops like a bag of bricks.

Panting heavily, I stare down at my handsome, sleeping Alpha. He’s so pretty.

“Shit,” I mutter. “I didn’t think this through,” I sigh, wiping my forehead with the back of my hand. “Did you not learn anything from the guy in the alley?" I mutter.

At least Caleb looks to be a good hundred pounds lighter than that guy.

I manage to get him out in the hallway before I need to take a break. “Fuck, fuck, fuck!” I hiss, looking around. “This isn’t gonna work,” I groan.

I could just leave him here. Abort my plan and think of something else.

Then I see a wheelchair and grin.So this IS some sort of medical facility. What the hell is he even doing here in the first place?

Not wasting time questioning that, I rush over, grab the wheelchair and with a lot of effort, I manage to get him sitting in it and his feet on the foot rests.

His head falls back, and I grimace at the angle of his neck. “You're gonna feel sore in the morning. Sorry, baby.” I lean over, press a kiss to his lips before racing down the hallway and towards the door I came in.

I’m sweating like a pig by the time I get him into the car. I need to hire some muscle. Thor would be useless in this case.

A petty part of me wishes he were here, knowing how much he and Caleb hate one another. I bet Thor would love to take a bite out of him.

And now I feel bad because I don’t like the idea of my Alpha hurting.

“Damn you,” I hiss down at his unconscious body. “You have me confused as hell.”

A sound chimes but it’s not from my phone. Brows furrowed, I grab his phone out of his pocket and see he got a text.

“Lacy,” I growl. “So that's who you're cheating on me with.”

Closing the door, I get into the driver's seat before opening his phone and reading the text message.

She’s asking what's taking him so long.

I’m going to need to text her back, or she’s going to go looking for him, and I need to get far away from here before anyone gets suspicious.

I text her back.
