“You are?” Leroy is the one to ask.
“In all honesty, I should say, weare.” I grin, turning to Leroy. “Go on, big boy, go get dressed.”
He blinks at me, lips parted. “Ah, okay, then.” He grins and gets to his feet. He hands the baby off to Jake. “I’ll be right back.” He starts to leave but stops beside me. Gripping my chin, he tilts my head up. “You're amazing,” he murmurs, leaning down and pressing a kiss to my lips before taking off and leaving me panting. I’m getting some tonight, and it’s going to be by that fine-as-fuck silver fox. I will make that man mine before the night is done.
“Dancing, huh?” Walker asks, pulling me into his arms. I lean into his touch, loving his warmth as honey and clove swirl around me. “Why dancing?”
“Because I’ve never been dancing. And our Beta needs a little reminding that he’s mine.” I shrug. Walker’s face falls, but I lean up and kiss him on the lips. “Don’t worry. I got him.”
Walker kisses me again and lets me go so I can say goodbye to Jake and the baby. After giving both of them kisses, I turn around to find Leroy waiting in the living room entrance.
“Hot damn,” I murmur as I take him in.
He lets out a low chuckle that’s as smooth as whiskey and it goes right to my pussy. I have to clench my damn walls shut to keep myself from slicking. “I’ll take that as a compliment, little lady,” he says, tilting his hat.
“Oh my god, you do have an accent,” I moan. Yeah, there's no hope for me.Be free pussy, gush away, weep for this Beta. You know you want to.
He laughs again. “I can when I want to.” He winks. “I’m assuming by the way you're dressed, we’re going to a country bar?”
He’s dressed in dark blue jeans and a black t-shirt. Those alone aren't all that different than what he normally wears, but the cowboy boots and hat changes the whole vibe.
“Little Monster?” Leroy’s amused voice has my eyes snapping up to look him in the eye.
“Huh, sorry. What did you say?” I ask, blinking. “I totally wasn’t paying attention and was very much ogling your body.”
He tosses his head back and laughs. The pure joy on this man's face makes me so damn happy right now.
“Alright,” I say, walking over to him. “Let’s go dancing!” I grab his hand and start leading him towards the door. “I can’t promise I won’t stab anyone, though.”
“Wait. What? Why would you need to stab anyone?” he asks, sounding confused.
I stop and look at him over my shoulder with a raised brow. “You're joking, right? You did look in a mirror while getting ready, didn’t you? Baby, you are a walking talking, tall glass of fine Beta ass. You're going to turn heads and if a bitch looks too long, I’m gonna cut her.”
His cheeks pinken. Holy mother of god, he’s so adorable! I hate that he can’t see how he’s the whole package.
“Jake! Grab him!” I hear Caleb’s voice shout from somewhere in the house.
“No!” Jake shouts back. “I have the baby.”
I deflate, the happiness falling right off my face.
“Don’t worry about them,” Walker says. I look over to find him standing at the end of the stairs. “I got them.”
“Let’s get out of here before it turns into a madhouse,” I say, pulling Leroy the rest of the way out the door.
“You sure they’re going to be okay?” Leroy asks, looking over his shoulder.
“They’re going to be fine. Caleb and Thor are only playing.” I brush off his concern, not wanting it to ruin our night.
“Yeah... playing. Sure. That's what they’re doing.”
Iknew I was goingto turn heads when I walked into the bar, but I didn’t expect it to be every single person’s head.
As I take a look around the room, I can tell why. They are clearly jealous of my outfit. All of theirs look so dull and lifeless.
It’s pretty packed, but I’m not surprised. It’s nine at night on a Friday.
“This is pretty cool.” I look around.
