“Yes, Jakob's nice.” I smiled up at Daddy, Daddy smiled down at me, and my gooey insides melted a little more. Because I could, I wrapped my arms around Daddy and gave him the tightest hugI could manage. He rewarded me with a kiss on the forehead, and I felt like my heart would pound out of my chest. I felt so at home with Daddy’s arms around me that the reality it was pretend made my heart hurt. Maybe fate was tired of waiting for me to figure out why my relationships always ended with vague disappointment.

Ugh, no big people's thoughts tonight. Tonight, was for little thoughts only. I gave myself a firm nod after I scolded myself. Since I could, I raised myself on my tippy-toes and kissed Daddy's cheek, as Jakob had done with his papa. In return, Daddy playfully growled at me. I knew that meant he liked it.

Jakob took my hand and led me around the playroom. They’d set up different zones for littles to play without getting in each other’s way. Each of the areas had beads and paper party hats. Both of us passed on the hats but put on the party beads. Jakob chattered about how he had so much fun finding craft supplies with all the glitter (his papa had already told him he couldn’t bring any leftover kits home) and picking out the menu for the dinner.

After dinner, there would be drag queen story time and karaoke for the brave people. Jakob wanted me to sing with him, but I wasn’t so sure because I sounded a lot like a frog when I did. After our tour, Jakob asked me what I wanted to play with first. I asked if we could color, and Jakob dragged me over to the tables with the crayons.

There were other littles at the table, but Jakob kept quiet around them. The more people who joined, the more withdrawn he became. I saw him smile at a few people, but he didn’t talk tothem. When we heard people happily talking about how well the party was set up, Jakob’s cheeks reddened, and he ducked his head down, but his pleased expression was unmistakable. I wanted to make sure my new friend was happy, so I stayed close to him.

There was a giant stack of coloring pages for us to choose our picture. I went through them all and giggled when I found an alien disco party book. The aliens had on leisure suits for their night out at the club. I thought maybe Daddy would like it if I colored a picture for him. Jakob picked a page with baby farm animals on it.

“I'm happy you came with Uncle Gabe. He never comes to our parties, and now he came, and he bringed you too!”

“I’m happy he did too. He said his friends were nice, and he was right.” We smiled shyly at each other, and I felt like I had made a friend.

“Uncle Gabe pretends he’s not sad, but I know he is. He looks at us littles and gets sad ‘cause he wants one, but he fibs and says he doesn’t. Papa says I need to mind my business, but I love Uncle Gabe. If you love someone, wanting them happy is your business.”

Jakob’s chatter got me thinking. Daddy acted like he wanted to be my daddy. I couldn’t say for sure that I enjoyed being a little for real because I hadn't been one long enough. Every time I was around him, I felt butterflies and melty insides Surely, that meantsomething, but I didn't know for sure.

I didn’t know what to do except talk to Daddy about it. But what if was a bad idea, ‘cause maybe he was good at pretending? I didn't want him to say yes ‘cause he felt sorry for me. I couldn’t talk to Jakob about it since then he would know Daddy had fibbed. I blew out a frustrated breath, and Jakob looked up from his page.

“You ‘k, Rory? You need Uncle Gabe?” Jakob furrowed his brow in concern.

“Nope.” I popped the “p” so he’d think I was silly and not be worried. “I need to think ‘bout something.”

“You should talk to your daddy about it. Daddies like to talk and talk and talk. I get in trouble if I have worries and don’t tell Papa.” Jakob’s face was grave. “Papa says his job is to help me, and if I don't tell him, he can’t help. I ‘posed to let Papa help me.”

“Does he get mad if you tell him, and he thinks it’s silly?”

Jakob carefully considered my question. “No, he only gets sad if I don’t tell.” He went back to thinking before he added, “And he never told me it was silly.”

As we worked on our coloring pages, Daddy and Reed sat where they could monitor us. When we looked at them, they were already looking at us. Sometimes we would wave, and sometimes they’d wave first. When Jakob made me blow kisses with him, the daddies caught them on the first try. They were talented daddies.

When I finished coloring my blue alien with the pink polka dots. I waited patiently for Jakob to finish. It was nice of me not to tell him to hurry, but I wanted him to go faster. I studied where the daddies were at. The chairs they sat in were big. Ginormous big. They were so big, I thought a little and a daddy could share.

“Ta-da! I finished!” Jakob proudly showed me his cute animals, and I shyly showed my aliens. We both said sweet things to each other and headed over to join the daddies. Jakob read my thoughts ‘cause he climbed right up into Reed’s lap and snuggled in. I stood there. Do I sit on the floor? On the seat? Keep standing? Daddy figured out my problem and pulled me into his lap. It was perfect. I wiggled around until I was comfy, and I ended up with my face burrowed into the crook of his neck. Daddy’s fingers lazily ran through my curls and, every once in a while, scratched my skull. It felt tingly. My dick liked it too, and I felt it press against my training pants. I wiggled a little more, trying to get some friction.

“Bunny, are you okay? You’re awfully antsy,” Daddy whispered in my ear.

“Daddy!” I needed him to fix this. “My pants are tight?” I looked up at him through my lashes. My butterflies swarmed.

“Oh no, baby, your cock is getting hard? I bet it’s leaking too.” His words made my dick harder in my training pants. “Bunny, they are calling us to dinner. I guess your cock is going to stay hard. No sneaking off to the bathroom to take care of it. A good boy wouldn’t touch himself without his Daddy’s permission.”

Daddy’s voice was a low rumble. My whole body shivered and shook with the vibrations it caused. It didn’t help my dick, though. It got harder. I think he was a naughty Daddy because I saw the smirk when I climbed off from his lap. Despite my best super serious look, I did not intimidate him. Daddy kissed my cheek instead. Hmph.

“Uncle Gabe, Rory, c’mon! We gonna be late for dinner!” Reed and Jakob headed towards the attached restaurant. “Rory, you wanna sit with me? Did it anyway, but I didn’t ask first. Papa, is Rory gonna be mad?”

“I wanna sit with you.” I interrupted before his papa could answer. Jakob smiled at me, and I was sure I made a new friend. Anders was my bestest friend when I was big. Jakob could be my bestest friend when I was little. I bet Anders would like him too. I should ask.

Throughout dinner, Jakob and I entertained ourselves. We told jokes to each other and our daddies if they asked nicely what we were laughing about. Our drinks came in sippy cups because Jakob asked politely if I could get one too. I was careful and didn’t tip it once. Dinner was extra yummy.

Me and Jakob got fancy grilled cheese, and our salad had flowers on it. Daddy said bunnies eat flowers, so it was fine. Jakob isn’t a bunny, but Reed said boys can eat them too. Daddy and Reed both said we were such good boys that we earned dessert. I got chocolate lace cookies and Crème brûlée ‘cause it was myfavorite, always and forever. I had my mouth full of food when Daddy gestured to someone to join us.

“Barrett, I hoped we’d run into you tonight.” Daddy and Reed stood up to shake his hand. Barrett looked a lot different from what he did the other day. He was in a fancy suit instead of jeans and a T-shirt like he had on the other day. “Did you get Owen to come with you?”

Hearing Daddy ask about someone else did funny things to me. I didn’t like it. Not one bit.
