He rocked against me, and it was so perfect my eyes swam. “God, so good.” I wanted to shut my eyes, but I close him out for a second.
As the sweat built between us and the pleasure rose, I let go. He pounded into me as if he couldn’t hold back. I wrapped around him and each stroke destroyed me as much as it put me back together.
I broke around him, my legs shaking. My arms banded around his shoulders as he hit me just right.
The whole room went bright then dark and sparkled behind my eyes.
The intensity nearly ended me as I held on with everything I had.
His name was on my lips before I could swallow it down.
But he caught me when no one else had insolong.
Chapter11
Sullivan
“Holy fuck.”I flopped onto the bed beside her, my chest heaving.
She rolled to her side, something between a giggle and a moan escaping as she collapsed against me. “I don’t think I’ve sweated that much since I did my one and only hot yoga class.”
I wrapped my arm around her, holding her close. I had a feeling she might be a slippery one.
But she surprised me by throwing a leg over mine and sighing as she relaxed. “Patience doesn’t even cover it for what that was.”
I grinned down at her. “That was just round one.”
“Can round two be in the morning?”
“Not with an eight-year-old around.”
She rubbed her cheek against my chest. “Right. School and breakfast,” she said around a yawn. “What time is it?”
I glanced at my bedside clock. “Not even ten.”
She lifted her head. “No way.” She crawled on top of me.
“What are you doing?”
“I mean, I guess we go for round two.”
I laughed and rolled her under me. “Not sure you’re ready for that. I can go all night.”
She wrapped her leg around my hip. “I bet I can.”
The second round was full of laughter and less intense. I needed to rein it in, or I was going to scare her away. But now that I’d had her in my bed, there was no going back for me.
And when she finally fell asleep in my arms, I stared at the ceiling for a good long while. It had been a damn long time since someone had been in my bed and the first time, I didn’t want to let them go.
I must have fallen asleep sometime because my alarm blared.
Nora moaned and pressed her lips to my chest. “No. It can’t be morning.”
I laughed and curled her closer until our legs were tangled. “It is, but we have five more minutes.”
She sighed and settled into me. “Just five.”
I heard a crash in the hall. “Or not.”
