“What did he say to you?” He breaks the long silence with his question, bringing me out of my trance.
“Who?”
“Derek. You said he said some awful things to you. What did he say?” He kisses my temple again as his fingertips glide against my spine.
“Things people say when they are hurt and lashing out. It’s not important. I hurt him by rejecting him, and he hurt me with his words. I don’t want to relive it. I just want to move forward.” I raise my head from his chest. He shifts his neck and looks into my eyes. I bite my lip nervously. “I want to move forward,” I repeat, “with you.”
He smiles at me. I tilt my head up and we kiss
“That’s all I want too. Let’s move forward together.”
His steady heartbeat finally lulled me to sleep. Naked and our limbs intertwined, we slept together on my queen sized bed, the open window letting in a light, summer breeze.
I kept my word when I woke up the next morning.
He woke up to find his dick in my mouth, but before I could give him that memory erasing orgasm, he asked me to put my pussy on his face. What else could I do but oblige?
So, before sunrise, we pleasured each other, both of us flying over that cliff simultaneously.
Reluctantly, he arose from my bed after we promised to spend the night together again, after having our first official date.
“I’ll pick you up. Pack a bag because I’m taking you home with me after dinner.” I walk into my bathroom as Jake puts on his sneakers.
“I can meet you at the restaurant or your house. You don’t have to pick me up. What sense does that make since I’ll need to come back home in the morning?” I strip naked, turn on the shower and put on my shower cap.
“It’s our first date. My mother raised me to be a gentleman, so I’ll pick you up around seven.”
“Nothing gentlemanly about what you did with your tongue a few minutes ago,” I say. He walks into the bathroom and groans when he sees my naked body. He walks closer to me, grabs me by my hips and pulls me to him, placing a gentle kiss on my nose.
“Just wait and see what I do tonight.” He plants a loud kiss on my collarbone. I turn and walk towards my tub only to have him slap me on the ass.
“I want more of that tonight too,” I call as I step into the tub.
The first thing I notice when I step outside of my townhouse is Jake’s car is still in my driveway. I walk next door and let myself into Tash and Chris’ place. Just as I suspected, I’m met with Jake’s deep laughter and Chris’ voice.
“What’s going on here?” I ask as I walk inside the house. Tash is in the kitchen, holding a cup of coffee and trying not to laugh. Jake walks over when he sees me and throws an arm around my waist possessively before leaning down and kissing me. “I thought you had to get home to the dogs.”
“I do, but then your sister and brother-in-law invited me for coffee.” He raises his mug to me, and I look at Tash. She gives me a playful smile, and I roll my eyes at her attempt at being nosy. She pours coffee for me in a to-go cup and hands it to me.
“I was just about to tell him all your flaws,” Chris says.
“What flaws? I don’t have any of those.”
“So, first off, Jake. Don’t let her watch any scary movies. She always says she can handle it. It’s a big ass lie. She can’t! Last time they had a girl’s night here watching scary movies, I come home to find Dee in bed with my wife. On my side of the bed, and she refused to leave. I had to go sleep in the guest room.”
I feign outrage at everyone’s laughter.
“It was just one night, Christopher,” I say, using the name he hates. “You can sleep without my sister for just one night.”
“I can, but I’d prefer not to sleep without mywife, Sandra.”
I roll my eyes at him. “You’re such a crybaby.”
“It’s okay, baby. I’ll watch scary movies with you and keep you safe.”
I lean into him to show my gratitude. “It’s nice to know someone cares about me.”
“What else?” Jake asks. I pretend to hit him in the chest, but he only grabs my hand and kisses it. I see Tash smile at our interaction.
