Her parents left hours ago, and despite the anger still bubbling inside of me, I stayed home to tend to my girl. She kisses her way down my body and licks the tip of my dick. I could come just from that, but she takes me to the back of her throat and gags.
“Jeannie,” I moan. Her mouth leaves my dick and she raises herself up. I grasp her hips and guide her down. “God damn,” I say once I fill her. She lets out a carnal moan. She goes still, and I give her a few seconds to get used to my size. “Don’t stop now,” I say a few seconds later. “You got what you wanted. So, now what?” I taunt.
“Now, I’m going to drive you crazy.” She puts both hands on my chest, but she winces. I grab her left hand and bring her fingertips to my lips. She slowly starts to ride me, and she feels so wet and tight that I want to explode. I nearly do when she throws her head back and softly moans my name. I grab those hips again, keeping her in place. I jolt her when I slap her bare ass with one hand and hold her steady with the other.
Chapter 58
Aiden
“I love you, and I’d rather you not leave this damn house until I get back, but since you’re only going to Vickie’s, it’s okay. You don’t go anywhere without Walker. His kid is fine, and he’ll be here by noon. You don’t go anywhere until he gets here.” I grasp her chin and force her eyes to mine. She made me promise not to fire Walker. “And you come right back home.” I drop down and graze my lips against hers.
“You’re not the boss of me, Aiden Walsh. I’m a grown ass woman. I’ll go where I please. And there will be hell to pay when you get back because I should be on my way to Denver with you right now. Layla will never forgive us.”
After her parents left, I found her in the bedroom packing for Denver. She hit her left hand on the dresser and yelped in pain. I carried her to the bed and told her under no circumstances would she be traveling.
“Whose grown ass woman are you?” She huffs and looks away, but I hold on to her chin and force her eyes back on me. “Whose?”
“Yours.”
“I’ll be home in four days, and if we win these two games, I’m not letting you out of my sight.” I kiss her fully, and I run a hand down her back and cup her ass. “I’ll miss you. Promise me you’ll only go to Vickie’s until I get back.”
“I promise.” She gets on her toes and wraps her arms around me. “Now, go before I tie you to the bed.” She pulls away and grabs my face. “I love you, and I’ll miss you.”
We kiss again until I hear a loud throat clearing. “This is the longest goodbye in history. We’ve got to go,” Jimmy says. He flew in late last night. I don’t know when he slept, but he got here at five in the morning, ready to go. Katherine has the Walsh jet waiting for me, and all I have to do is leave, but the warm, beautiful body in my arms isn’t making it easy. Finally, after one more kiss, I move away and follow Jimmy to the car.
As soon as he pulls away, he asks, “Are you sure about this?”
“Take me to him,” is all I say. He looks at me through the rearview mirror and nods. “I assume you’ve had eyes on him. And how did we fuck up this bad? We were so worried about him, I forgot all about her.” I lean my head back. I’m fucking exhausted. I’ve gotten less than five hours of sleep in the past two days. We have a game tonight and one in two days that I have to prepare for. The last thing I needed to do was fly back to New York yesterday, but when the woman I love is hurt, I will move mountains to get to her.
Myra talked me out of going there yesterday, but Quintin and I are going to have a talk this morning.
“Sexism, boss. That’s going to be this society’s downfall. We didn’t think a woman would be dangerous, which is crazy because there’s an entire show about women killers. Have you ever watched Snapped?” He shakes his head, but we remain silent while he drives through the quiet streets. He lives in a townhouse on St. Nicholas Avenue in the heart of Sugar Hill. This is where he lived with Jeannie, and the idea of her living here, unhappy with a cheating spouse eats away at me. She deserves everything, not the stuff that this asshole put her through. What he continues to put her through.
“I’m going in with you,” Jimmy says once he opens the door for me. “Jeannie would kill me if you get arrested for murder. When I say enough, it’s enough, do you hear me?” I nod and follow him to the door. He bangs on it, and when no one opens it, he pulls something out of his pocket. Jimmy is ex-military, and he might be all about the Zen life now, but he has skills that some can only dream about. One is his ability to get any door open. He calls it the Jimmy special.
He has the lock undone in under a minute, and we go inside. The place is neat, and the sun is just starting to rise. We don’t try to be quiet while we walk through the house. Jimmy is behind me when I burst through a door on the first floor. He’s up and has a baseball bat in his hand. I easily take it from him, toss it aside, and push him against the wall. He hits it so hard, a framed picture crashes to the floor.
“What the fuck?” he asks. “How did you get in here?” We don’t answer. A phone rings, and it’s Quintin’s. He pulls it out of the pockets of his shorts. “What, Belinda?” he snaps. “You’ve been calling me all fucking night, and I don’t know what the hell you want me to do.” He stays quiet and listens. I can hear angry rushed sounds coming from his phone, but I can’t make out the words. “Well, I didn’t tell her to go assault someone, only to get her ass kicked in the process. He’s your grandson, so you watch him. I told Camille I didn’t want the damn kid. I don’t know where she is, so stop calling me!” He ends the call and throws the phone across the room. It crashes against the wall.
“I’ll let you throw the first punch,” I tell him.
“Get the fuck out of my house, you thug. I didn’t hurt Jeannie. I never would.” His words cause something inside of me to finally snap. Jimmy must sense it because he moves closer. He talks as if protecting her is his job when it’s mine. Quintin is shirtless, and I’m unable to grab him by his clothes, so I push him against the wall and hold him in place with one hand.
“You’ll never hurt her? You caused this entire thing. You, your giant ego, and your inability to keep it in your pants. You went out and fucked her friend, you piece of shit. The same friend who assaulted her yesterday. This is on you.” I let him go, but when he tries to walk away, I block him. “I’m offering you the first punch. I won’t offer again.”
I’m almost a foot taller than him. I’m wider. I work out twice a day almost every day. There’s no way he can fight me, and he knows it. He looks at Jimmy as if he’s expecting help, but all Jimmy does is cross his arms.
“I’m not doing this. Grow up and get the fuck out. You think this has been easy on me? It hasn’t, but it’s none of your damn business.”
“It’s been hard on him. Did you hear that, Jimmy?”
“Sure did. Quintin here’s had it rough,” Jimmy says.
“Wrong answer, Quintin.” I pull away, and the coward tries to take a hit at me, but I grab his fist before he can make contact. I hold it in place for a few seconds before I push him backwards. It’s a light push, but he stumbles and almost falls over. Wimp. “I’ll give you another chance. Come on.” He tries to punch again, but I catch his fist and twist his wrist. He hollers in pain. “You throw like a fucking pussy,” I tell him. “I’m running out of time, so I’ll make this quick.” I grab his left arm and pull it behind his back. I turn him around and grab his wrist with both hands. I twist with all my strength until I hear something snap. Quintin hollers in pain. “And since I will never put my hands on a woman, you get to feel my wrath. But don’t worry. Tell Camille she’s going to get it too, only not in the physical sense. I’m going to fuck up her world as much as I’m going to fuck up yours.” I let him go and he falls on his ass, yelling in pain at his broken wrist. I snatch him up, push him against the wall, and land two solid blows in his stomach. He doubles over when I let him go and starts to cough. I reach for him again, but Jimmy intercedes.
“Enough. Let’s go.” Jimmy steps between us and points to the door. I turn on my heel, and Jimmy follows me out.
