Sienna sighs, “Oh my God.”

I hold rub my hand down my face because this whole thing has been one epic fail.

“Sienna,” Julian says calmly.

“Yes.”

“Is there a guy under your bed?”

Sienna steps in front of the bed. “Yes.”

For a second neither of them say anything. And I don’t know if I should just come out and shake his damn hand.

But next thing I know, he says, “Nice.”

And they sound like they fist bump. Teenagers, I swear.

“Hey, boy toy. Your phone’s ringing in your pants on the couch. Just FYI.”

I cover my mouth and say muffled say, “Thanks.”

“Yeah, no problem,” I hear the smile in his voice. Then to Sienna he says, “I’ll leave you to it.”

“Yeah,” she says uncomfortably before she closes and locks the door, then drops down to see me on my back under her bed.

“Real smooth there,” she says with a glower.

“You should really sweep under here,” I say, shuffling out. She helps me once I’m halfway out.

“Well, that was close. I’m going to make sure the coast is clear and go grab your clothes so you can–”

“Have breakfast with me.” The words rush out before she can even finish.

“What?”

“Well, not just with me, probably with Josie, too. If that’s okay.”

She smiles, bring a hand up to run it over the scruff of my face. “I’d love that.”

“Yeah?” I feel the my body ignite again at her touch. And I get excited that this won’t be it. We’ll get more time together.

“Yeah,” she says. “But first, I really should go get your pants.”

I look down at my half hard dick.

“Probably a good idea.”

Chapter29

Sienna

The rain's slowed to a misty drizzle by the time Levi pulls up outside the apartment door.

We made sure to wait until Julian was in the shower before I snuck him out.

For a second, Levi doesn’t move. Just sits there, watching me with eyes that make me feel so seen. Then he cracks that smile that could melt ice caps.

I clutch my hoodie tighter around me. Not because I’m cold, but because I feel like I might float right out of my skin if he looks at me like that for one more second. I make a move to go to his truck, but he holds a hand up to stop me.
