Energy zapped from me, I collapsed onto his chest, wrapping my arms around him. “That was so good. What a way to start the day.”

He kissed my forehead. “That was thebestway to start a day.” His arms snaked around my waist and he cuddled me closer. “I wouldn’t mind starting every day that way. My insides are probably eating each other I’m so hungry, but let me hold you for another minute.” He wrapped me even tighter into his embrace.

His words made a different kind of warmth spread through me. Even though sex with Grayson was phenomenal; I couldn’t deny this tenderness brought about strong emotions and engulfed me with its significance. There was no denying Grayson was all about sex, but I could truly trust that with me it was also a hell of a lot more than that.

My stomach rumbling against his triggered a fully belly laugh from Grayson.

“Fine. I’ll cuddle with you later. Don’t want your insides eating each other too.” After pressing a kiss to the top of my head, his arms slid away.

I gave him one more squeeze before dropping to the mattress for a much needed breath. Once I was convinced I wasn’t going to pass out from lack of oxygen to the brain, I slid off of the bed. While I retrieved my clothes from the floor and quickly slipped into them, Grayson stepped into the bathroom for a minute and then tugged on a pair of gray sweats.

“Our food is going to be cold but that was so worth it.”

“Anytime, Princess. I love your body. And I fucking love making it feel good.” He grabbed my hand and led me out to the kitchen. “Not that you left me unsatisfied in any way. You’re perfection. The way your hot slick pussy clenches my dick; fucking nirvana.”

His words elicited a new round of tingles from my body. Dropping down onto a stool, I forked a bite of my omelet. “You do realize that will in no way deter me from teasing you.” Breakfast was cold but still tasty.

Sliding onto the seat beside me, Grayson reached for his cup of coffee, but then thought better of the cold brew. “I was hoping not. But you still needed some sort of consequence. And it made me feel a lot better about myself.” He shot me a mischievous grin.

I rolled my eyes.

“I’ll make us more coffee. There is no way we can drink that stuff.” Grabbing our mugs from the bar, Grayson dumped the contents into the sink before making us each a fresh cup.

Once we were done with our cold breakfast but thankfully hot coffee, we cleaned up and changed clothes. I found another pair of pants and t-shirt of Sage’s I could wear. I tucked the other dirty clothes I had borrowed into my purse along with the outfit I had worn out on Friday. I’d be sure to add her stuff to my laundry and get them back to her as soon as possible. Now the boxers and shirt of Grayson’s; I left for him to wash and didn’t feel an ounce of guilt over it. Actually, I even giggled to myself.

While Grayson cleaned the kitchen and then ran the vacuum, I lounged on the couch flipping through channels.

When he finished, he plopped down beside me and snuggled me into his side. Around two o’clock, Ryder and Sage walked through the side door. The two of us hopped up to help them. Grayson snatched some of the gift bags that were filled to over flowing with baby stuff and set them onto the bar, while I grabbed the diaper bag and placed it beside the overnight bag Ryder had dropped onto the floor.

“I’m so glad to be home. That hospital bed was so uncomfortable. She’s a good baby, but even when she was sleeping, I couldn’t get comfortable enough to get any decent sleep.” Sage ambled into the living room with Jade nestled in her arms. Ryder followed and helped her ease down onto the couch. “I’m exhausted.”

“Neither one of us slept much. That pull out sofa bed was horrible too. They aren’t designed for someone my size.”

“He’s not wrong there. I wanted him to go home and take a nap, but he wouldn’t leave me.” Sage stared up at Ryder, her expression beaming with immense affection.

“Grayson and I can keep an eye on Jade while the two of you get some sleep, if you want. We’re just planning to chill out on the couch.” I gave Sage a warm smile.

“Oh my God. That would be so nice. I just fed her before we left the hospital so she should be good for maybe two hours. Any amount of sleep in my own bed would be so welcome right now. Thank you two so much.”

“We got this. You two go get some rest.” Grayson stretched his arms out to Sage.

She gently shifted Jade to his arms. Then she and Ryder wandered back down the hall.

Grayson eased down onto the couch with the little bundle and I sat down beside him.

“Now you definitely don’t look like a big bad biker dude. At least with Ryder’s long hair, the baby doesn’t detract too much from his image. But don’t go letting your hair grow out. I like the way you wear it. You’re biker enough for me.”

“So what do we do with this thing?”

His question pulled a giggle from me. “You cuddle her until she wakes up. And then we’ll probably have to change her diaper. And with any luck, we’ll be able to rock her back to sleep. And then when she realizes she’s hungry we’ll have to wake up Sage. So hopefully Jade is really comfy in your arms so she sleeps for a long while. I know I find your arms incredibly comfy.”

Grayson shot me a heated look that slowly turned tender. “Are you sure I can’t convince you to stay for dinner? I’m sure whatever Angel brings over will be delicious and there will be plenty of it for one more.” He grinned. “And when they feel as if they have made enough dinners for us and we need to start fending for ourselves again; you can help me fix dinner.”

I raised my eyebrow at him in amazement.

“We had been trying to cut back on all of our takeout. So when Sage got pregnant, we kinda forced ourselves to eat better. And she’s helped us out a lot. She found a lot of easy recipes for us to use. So we take turns making dinner for the three of us. But it could easily turn into the four of us.”

“Maybe another time. I don’t want to stay really late. And I definitely will help you cook some other evening.” The thought made my insides all warm and fuzzy, picturing Grayson and I doing something a normal couple would do.
