Taking her face in my hands, I say, “If you die before me, I’ll throw myself in the grave with you, because life without you is not worth living.”
I kiss her softly and then pull back with a grin.
“Hey, crazy girl, are you ready to go tell my family?”
She flashes me a shocked expression.
“Don’t you want to wait until I’m further along?”
“Nope. I’m going to rent a fucking neon sign.”
We pull apart and start getting dressed, and I think out loud.
“Kage says we should have twelve babies, and I think he’s right.”
She gasps loudly. “I’m going to kill your brother.”
“Maybe a few ground rules,” I say with an arched brow.
“Kill who you want, baby, but not my family.”
“Fine,” she says as she pulls her pants on.
I wrap my arms around her, and she once again rocks my world.
“Thank you. You did indeed break me, Nico, but then you put me back together, as a better version of myself.”
Do I regret all the things I did to her in the beginning? Not a fucking chance, because it got us to where we are now. I don’t know if I’m actually crazy, but as long as I’ve got my living dead girl, I really don’t fucking care.

EPILOGUE ONE
Bones runs his hand through his hair, and I chuckle, because he really reminds me of our dad when he does that.
“You’re sure she’s pregnant?”
I’m slightly thrown off by his question.
“Yeah. The doctor did a test and said she was.”
“Congratulations, Reaper. Wow. That’s a lot to take in.”
I sit in the seat across from his desk and shake my head.
“I’m happy. Can you not be fucking happy for me?”
Bones folds his hands over his desk and sighs.
“I’m happy for you, Nico. I am. I just worry about you. How does a baby fit into your life of homicide?”
I shrug. “I don’t know. People get date nights, right?”
He looks to the ceiling like it’ll help him.
“Okay, maybe we still do it, but slow down a little.”
