He smiles wide. “I did.”

“Luke!” I wrap my hands around his shoulders. “That’s so amazing! Oh my gosh!” I can’t believe it. “It was always your dream.”

He nods, pulling me in closer. “Now, I have a bigger dream. You. I don’t want any of it, Torre, unless it’s with you. So, what do you say, baby? Are you in this with me?”

The word gets lodged in my throat. I’ve never wanted anything more. He’s my one and only. There is no life without him.

“Yes, Luke. Yes, I’ll marry you.”

He takes the ring out, slides it on my finger, and rises from the ground. “I love you so much, Torrin.”

“And I love you.” It’s right here in his arms where I feel safe. Where I feel happy. “What about my mom and your dad? Do you think they’ll be okay with this?” It’s not going to change my decision, but it’s still a worry.

“I asked them both for your hand, babe. They both said we have their support. They just asked if we’d wait until you were ready. But when the time comes, they’ll be happy to walk you down the aisle if this is what you want.”

“It’s definitely what I want. I would marry you tomorrow, but if it makes them feel more comfortable with our choice, I’m okay with waiting.”

“We’re on the same page, babe. Just as long as you’re mine, it doesn’t matter when we do it.”

I lean up onto my toes, begging for him to meet me halfway. And he does. His lips sweep me up, tangling me in the heat, kissing me until my toes curl and the warmth expands. Pulsing everywhere.

“We need to stop, babe. Your mom is downstairs. And while we’re here, I don’t want to make them uncomfortable.”

I don’t either. He’s right. It’s going to take them time to adjust. And while they’re growing used to the idea of us, we should keep it clean. But that doesn’t mean that after they’re sound asleep, we can’t have a little fun.

“Will you meet me in the basement at midnight, Mr. Williams? I want to ride my fiancé’s tongue.”

His tongue licks across his lower lip, like he’s imagining me rubbing against it. “Yes, Mrs. Williams.” Those words melt me. “It’s a date. But you’re going to have to be a good girl and be quiet for me. Keep those screams muffled.”

“I promise I’ll behave.”

“So, what do you think, babe?” I wrap my arms around her back and nuzzle into her neck. “Do you like the cookies?”

Dessert was my contribution to tonight’s dinner. I texted Sheryll to get her recipe for Torrin’s favorite: peanut butter sugar cookies. I think they taste just like hers, but my girl is to be the judge of that. By the sexy moan she made when the first bite hit her tongue, the way her eyes fluttered closed, and her slow swallow, I think she likes them a whole lot. And now my dick is jealous of the cookie.

She licks her lips and turns in my arms, leaning into my ear so the others can’t hear. “I would like it even better if I had some milk to wash it down with.”

I have to bite my tongue, so the groan doesn’t slip free. My girl has been testing my limits all night. Flirting with my cock until he’s blue in the face. I don’t know how I’m going to survive the movie and games. There’s only so much teasing a man can take.

“I think the cookies are amazing,” Sophie says. “I could totally get used to this.” She turns to Travis, smiling. “You guys making us dinner and dessert, while us three girls binge-watchLove Is Blind.”

“I could too.” Willow smiles up at Brennon.

That makes all of us. Having our girls all huddled in on the sofa, safe and sound, while us three guys shoot the shit and cater to their needs. It was one of the best dates I’ve ever had.

“Yeah, wish you guys weren’t leaving next year,” Brennon says. “It’s gonna suck not having you around.”

“I don’t want to think about it.” My girl snuggles into my chest. She has nothing to worry about. I’ve got it all worked out. Red-eyes on Saturday nights and Monday mornings. I’m going to buy us a house so whenever my girl can skip a few days of classes and work online, I’ll fly her in. I’ll be making enough money; she could fly in and out daily if she wanted to. But that’s to be determined. No matter what, we’re going to make it work. And when she graduates, she’s going to come cheer for my team, and then I’ll have her with me always.

“All right, so do you guys want to watchTwilightorReady Player One?” Travis asks. His girl looks sad now too. She doesn’t want him to leave either. But at least we know our girls will have each other. They’re all good girls, so we know they won’t get up to any trouble. Be partying wild while we’re gone. And Brennon will be here in case of emergency.

“I’m actually getting kind of tired,” Torre says. “Is it okay if we take a rain check on the movie?”

“It’s only eight,” Sophie points out, giving her a knowing look. “Can’t you at least stay for one movie?”
