The feel of his body pulsating inside me has me free-falling into my orgasm. I tumble forward as my body contracts around him. This euphoria is more than I can handle and remain upright. Abruptly, he’s turning my head to the side, engulfing me in a kiss.
Pulling back, he whispers against my mouth, “I love you, Bella.”
“And I love you,” I reply, returning a kiss to his waiting lips. Resting my face against his chest, I close my eyes and exhale, overwhelmed at everything I’m feeling. Tears start to trickle from my eyes before I realize the intensity of my emotions.
“Baby? What is it?”
“I wanted to come to you. To beg Kat to tell me where you were and come to you. But my pride wouldn’t let me after what you did. I was so worried. My heart so wounded at knowing you were going through this alone.”
“I hate what I did to you. But I would’ve rather had you hate me than be hurting,” he says, wiping my tears from my eyes. “I wish they hadn’t told you.”
“Who?”
“Nick and Kat. I held off telling Nick for a long time because I didn’t want them to upset you.”
“They didn’t tell me. Sophia did.”
Sebastian shifts in the bed, looking stunned.
“She said she needed her karma cleaned.”
Shaking his head, he pulls me into him, kissing me on my head. “That she does. Maybe there’s hope for her yet.”
CHAPTERTHIRTY-EIGHT
Isabella
“Good morning.”
Rolling over, I see the handsome face of my love smiling back at me. “I was afraid I’d wake up, and none of this would be real.”
“Yeah. I kind of thought the same thing when I opened my eyes this morning. I didn’t want to wake you but had to squeeze you a little tighter to make sure it wasn’t my imagination.” He places sweet kisses on the side of my neck and nuzzles my hair. “Did you sleep okay?”
“Best sleep in months.” I giggle.
“GG? Can I ask you something?”
Twisting my torso so I’m completely facing him now, I run my hand through the inky hair that’s fallen into his piercing deep blue eyes. “I hope from here on out we can ask each other anything.”
“Why did you let me stay?”
“What do you mean?”
“You were so mad. But night after night, instead of throwing my ass out on the street, you let me stay.”
Biting my lip, I can’t help but laugh. “Sometimes you just have to say fuck it.”
“What?” he chuckles. Bopping me on my nose, he dips his head to the nape of my neck and playfully sinks his teeth in.
“Ouch.” I laugh.
“That’s the most romantic thing you’ve ever said to me. My sweet little-”
Knock, knock.
We both freeze.Holy crap.
“Mom?”
